I was thinking what are the common thoughts about Daemonic Steeds ? I am thinking of giving one to my Khorne Lord and was wondering is it worth it seeing as it costs the same as Termie Armour but dosen't let him Deep Strike and dies the same way as a normal Lord.
Thoughts ?

Hmm, IIRC it doesn't make him move any faster so no.

Tzeentch steeds are worth it for the Jump Infantry + extra attack.

Anyway what is the Lord going with?

Either normal CSM with MoK or Bezerkers, I'm trying to keep it as fluffy as possible.

i think maybe it's the same as choosing artificier armour over termie armour for SM, you lose the deep strike but it allows you to perform a sweeping advance, TBH unless you want to deepstrike i would take the steed

Not really, Because Artificer Armour gives a marine +2 AS, making it more survivable.
A Khornate Steed gives your Lord +1 S and +1 A so he dies the same way a normal Lord.

hmm, thanks for the advice, the thing I don't like about Termie Armour is the no Sweeping Sdvance thing.
I am not boasting but as Khorne Lords tend to win assults it kinda sucks not to be able to Sweeping Advance.
