17th May 2009, 02:24

Your character may carry

2 one handed weapons, 1 two handed weapon, as many throwing weapons and misc items as you want.

Injuries

what happens if my person gets *killed* well then they get injured, and I roll 2D6 on the injury chart below:

2 - miraculous recovery, no bad effects
3 - Disturbed, D3 days with -1 to your Ld.
4 - Slow Witted, D3 days with -1 to your I.
5 - Weakened state, D3 days with -1 to your Str.
6- The shakes, D3 days with -1 to your BS.
7 - Badly bruised, D3 days with -1 to your T.
8 - Flesh wound, D3 days with -1 to your Bs and Ws.
9 - Dodgy leg - permament -2 to movement.
10 - Crippled - permament -1T (if reduced to 0, you die)
11 - Blinded in one eye - permament -1Bs, and -1Ws.
12 – Death

Their is a modifier of the attackers Strength -6 to the above chart,

Thus it is impossible to die, unless hit by a heavy weapon or some very strong guy/monster.

Note: Killing Blow being designed to kill you means any injury suffered is more likely to be fatal thus any injury which is caused by a killing blows is done as Strength -4 instead of -6.

Experience

Experience points can be used to increase your characters stats, gain new roles, gain wizard levels etc. Every task in the game will grant experience from now on however the amount depends on A) the difficulty and B) Whether you survived or not.

Now to explain what you can buy with XP you get.

Max stats- These are the maximum stats your race is allowed from buying stat improvements with XP. This is mainly to stop ridiculous things like T8 goblins running around the place.

Roles and magic items do not count towards max stats e.g. say you’re a orc who takes muscle the +1 to your strength from the role will not count towards your overall S thus you could put some xp into your S and have a S of 5 combined with muscle. The same also applies to minus modifiers as well. Also different classes have different max stats so make sure you check to make sure you know what your max stats are for your class before upgrading.

Roles- All races can have 1 extra roles bar humans who are allowed an extra 2 roles so you could have Wizard brute merchant if you wanted. You can’t take the same role twice they have to be different so no giving yourself +6 attacks from being an assassin 3 times.

Wizard level- If you’re a wizard you can increase your wizard level by 1 to a max of 4 gaining a new spell as well as power and dispel.

Heros and Lords- Instead of building up your hero via stat increase you can choose to increase all your stats in go by purchasing one of these upgrades. These will give your character hero or lord level stats to your character. Note you must buy the hero upgrade before you can buy the lord upgrade.

Experience costs

Improving LD Xp needed= Current/2

Improving WS, BS, or I Xp needed = Current stat

Improving S,A or T Xp needed= Current stat+2

Improving W Xp Needed= Current statx4

New Role= 6 xp

New wizard level= 5xp

Upgrade to hero- 18 xp

Upgrade to lord- 25 xp

Now a few other things

Challenges

At the start of any task a member of a team may challenge a member of the other team to a 1 on 1 duel by posting in the thread and challenging them.

This duel follows the rules of my fantasy AOD’s e.g. magic, shooting, combat repeat until one is dead.

Now no one has to accept a challenge though by doing so you show you’re a coward and the opposing team is allowed to mock you. If you accept the fight goes on and the winner gets 1XP and the loser gets the crap beaten out of them and will suffer an injury for that task.

Both teams may make only 1 challenge a task.

Extra Crowns

Feel like starting with 15 extra crowns and up for some writing? If so post in the thread and you will start with the extra crowns in return for writing a story for the results of one or two of the tasks depending how many people come forward.

Current Story writers
Ron 1,9
Baragash 2,10
Le Shirrif 3,11
Shotcoder 4,12

Doohicky 6,14

Sinister 8,16

Extra Experience

Everyone wants more experience right? Well here's how to get it. Act in character. Thats it if your a orc and your posts sound like something a orc would say and your character acts like an orc you'll get extra xp and this applies to all races and classes and for each task you do this and I decide it's decent enough you'll be rewarded with another 1xp at the end of the task.

Task length

Each task has a 72 hour time period for people to get in their actions and do their shopping. If you fail to get in an action in time then you'll be randomly assigned to a task and of course don't do any shopping none is done. Tasks will be rolled within 24 hours of the 72 hour period closing if something would prevent this I shall post in the thread and let you know.

Q&A

1. Do I need to know anything about Fantasy?
It will help especially knowing what the heck the magic items do. However an easy way around this is to go Download the trial and the latest warhammer fantasy data file (http://www.wolflair.com/rightframe.php?context=army_builder&page=downloads) that way you can at least see what the magic items do without having to ask anyone especially me.

Got a question ask me and I will answer it.

Put me down for the order. I'll be PMing later once I have read all of that and sorted it all out.

Oh, and put me down for a writer.

Dark Lord Foamy
17th May 2009, 04:09
Something I just remembered is that the game length will be about 16 tasks in length depending on some events e.g. get a choice of where to go and some routes take longer then others. Also temp shops aren't very common only few being available though the stock they will carry will be quite powerful and useful to you compared to the 40k ones.

This intrigues me, but I wonder how do you determine who well we act the part? I mean it's certainly easier for some races than others. Like how do you act the part of a dryad or a Chameleon skink?

This may just be my lack of Fantasy fluff showing through, but I really am curious.

Dark Lord Foamy
17th May 2009, 06:26
Well with most races the fluff describes the best way to act with things like Dryads be nice and friendly right up until they piss you off and you can tear them limb from limb so act friendly to allies, praise loren and the trees but with enemies of the forest hate loath and despise themoh and act like a girl as they are described as beautiful maidens. Skinks and Saurus go on about Lustria, Slann and the Old Ones and through in a few reptilian noises and you'll be their though keep in mind Saurus aren't greatest speakers with their low intellect.

Go EVIL!

Dark Lord Foamy
20th May 2009, 05:12
Okay I've been asked a few questions about magic via PM's so I'll answer it all here so everyone can see.

All spells are from the current rules.

If you go a wizard you may use any lore your wizard has access to e.g. go orderly human any of the 8 lores and chaos the chaos god lores and the 4 lores available to sorcerors. Your Wizard like normal may only choose spells from 1 of these lores for the entire game bar magic items granting them extras e.g. bound items.

You may still choose to take the 1st spell default instead of me rolling for spells if you wish.

Power and Dispel dice- Each team generates 2 power and 2 dispel dice which can be used by any wizard in the team each turn. Wizards also still generate there own dice which only they can use though the other dice can be combined e.g. a level 2 wizard may use his 2 power dice and 1 of the teams to use 3.

All spells are from the current rules though some spells have been changed to make them more balanced to fit factions e.g. the lore of fire spell fireball is now only d3 hits not d6.

Ron

Warriors of chaos pg 120 Sorcerors Magic he may choose his spells from Lores of Fire, Death and if has a mark one the lore of the appropriate mark.

Sorceror Lord pg119 Same but also has access to Heavens and Shadow as well.

Thus 3 chaos lores and those 4 are allowed to chaos sorcerors.

Does this mean a chaotic human sorcerer can choose a mark of chaos?

Well all the chaotic human classes count as having a mark as thats where their class special rules come from so any chaos wizard may choose their spells from heavens, fire, death or shadow lores and if they are a

Torturer- Lore of Slaanesh
Disease Bearer- Lore of Nurgle
Sorceror- Lore of Tzeentch.

Dark Lord Foamy

Right got Tarions character now first task will be up after I finish work.

Dark Lord Foamy
25th May 2009, 05:29
Task 1- Place your bets

In a bar some where in the border princes-

As usual in the dragon head pub the biggest mercenary pub in the area all the different mercenaries were busy beating the utter crap out of each other, drinking or both. A few were also busy talking with clients who wanted certain jobs done and the mercs had a simple system ‘job details, half the pay up front and the rest when the job was done’ no questions asked.

2 groups of mercenaries who had been given the name misfits due to the variety of races in them were busy challenging each other to do rather risky and dangerous dares like they usually do being competitive lot they are. The results were quite interesting.

The task

Now there are and 7 challenges. They are the following.

1. Kick a black orc in the crotch and leg it- You will succeed in the kick but you will then have to leg it or suffer at the hands of the orc.

2. Drink a 500 year old pint of fungal brew- This will test how powerful your internal organs are to see if they can handle this stuff.

3. Translate what a wight is miming- This wight is trying to say something unfortunately it’s missing its jaw so having to mime and only the smartest in the land can translate it.

4. Lift a drunk dwarf to his room- Oh great this dwarf has passed out and you’ve got to take him back to his room what fun.

5. Parry a volley of blows- Your going to have to parry 3 attacks from 5 strike the not very famous skaven assassin.

6. Shoot a scarecrow- Simple one this all you have to do is shoot the scarecrow with this longbow which is behind those bushes with the ogres standing in front of it behind that watchtower.

7. The comfy chair- You must sit in the comfy chair yes fear it’s comfyness FEAR IT!

As there are 7 tasks and 7 people on each team you must put each member of the team on 1 of these tasks so that each task will have one chaos and one loyalist player doing it.

Now a slight change here is that you don’t pick which of you does which task the other team does so chaos team picks the actions of the loyalist team and the loyalists pick the actions of the chaos team. Note if something has a BS of 0 you can’t put it on the shoot a scarecrow challenge they must have a least a chance of hitting it.

Have fun and let the grudges and hatred towards the other team begin.

Note- Assassinations and challenges can’t be performed in this task.

Doohicky
25th May 2009, 20:09
Doohicky stares round the room. Many an ale had already found its way down his throat. Foam dripped down his short cropped beard over the blue spiral tattoo which covered his barrel chest.

Sitting with his back to the wall the surley dwarf faced his friends and foes alike. Was there one here who could bring him to his mighty doom. He doubted it, but stranger things had happened.

In the meantime he was ready for whatever challenges waited him. Never had he backed down in the face of adversity and he wasn't about to start now.

Le Shirrif
25th May 2009, 20:17
Le Shirrif sat on the other side of the room with his chaos buddies. He scowled at the foolishness of the drinkers around him- could they not see that their time would be better spent serving Tzeentch? Sighing, he decided to attempt to imitate the local custom.

Awkwardly, he approached the bar. A surly bartender looked the muscled, robed man up and down, glanced at the staff, wood with carved faces screaming in pain. Deciding it was better not to mention it, the bartender asked what he wanted.

"I'll have a... ah... Ale, I believe you refer to it as? Yes, an ale."
After paying for his drink, Le Shirrif sat back down at the chaos table. He sniffed the tankard's contents suspiciously. Why, he thought to himself, did these people drink this... this slop. This... paste of fermented vegetables. Shirrif sighed and took swig. The foul taste nearly made him gag. Grimacing, he placed his hand on the tattoo on his arm. The coiled snake of Tzeentch. He looked back at the ale, and concentrated. It writhed and mutated silently, morphing into crystal clear water. Smiling, Shirrif took a mighty gulp, downing the tankard. Several of the other patrons, mainly those with weaker constitutions, looked approvingly at him, before returning to their drinks. Sighing, Shirrif closed his eyes. When could he next unleash his power? He forced the magic inside him back, then leant back and listened to the sound of the Inn. Listening, and waiting.

Tone was standing in the corner looking annoyed. The very thought of a high elf being in this situation was appalling. Taking a back seat in the rowdiness of the 2 mercenary groups, Tone simply observed each of the members of the opposing group, sizing up their weaknesses as he played with his rings.

Kilroy
25th May 2009, 20:51
Kilroy said goodbye to his beloved spider, Graka-Smasha-Bang, as he entered the bar. He followed the sorcerer over to the bar. He had been mimicking the disciple of Tzeentch since he had joined their party, hoping some of his magic would rub off on him. Kilroy walked up to the bar: "Kilroy wants sum Alez!" the goblin proclaimed "Or else, 'e smashes fings!". The bartender rolled his eyes and handed the forest goblin a mug almost as large as the gobbo's head. Kilroy hefted it and returned to the table. He slugged the liquid back thoroughly enjoy the drink, he turned his attention to sheriff. The goblin's "master" recoiled at the taste of the drink. At this the trainee-shaman spat the drink out, all over Tarion's face. The chaos sorcerer then proceeded to change the liquor into water. The goblin stared into the mug, and screamed at the top of his lungs "WAKKA ZOOOMPUNG SNAGA!" Inside of turning into water, the liquid formed into a ball, hardened and before anyone could react a large squig jumped out of the mug, to go maul some unfortunate at another table. Kilroy scratched his head. "Me finks ah didz it rong..."

Nid sat quietly in the corner, eyeing the locals distrustfully. He turned his gaze to the exits, carefully planning a way to vanish should a confrontation occur. Then he turned down to his hound, gave him some scraps, and scratched him behind the ears. Absent-mindely he reached up and touched the vial hanging around his neck which contained soil from his homeland and his thoughts turned Athel Loren. His heart ached with homesickness but he could not return until he had regained his honor. For now all he could do was wait for his companions to finish intoxicating themselves so they could move on. Again he reached down to pat his hound only to find a halfling who promptly scurried away cackling as he held Nid's hound's collar.

Moodz struggled to hop onto a stool by the bar, after several miserable attempts to climb the damn thing, he finally got atop it. He took out his pack, rummaged through it, and from it took out a coin, handed it to the bar keep, and ordered an ale. The mug came to him, and was almost the same size as he was! He drank a quarter of it, before sitting back and almost gagging. Rummaging through his pockets, he pulled out a piece of corn bread he had made earlier. He then began to nibble on it, the sweet taste drowning out the dryness of the ale.

He looked around the room at the others, he wasn't quite sure what to make out of any of them, Elves, Dwarfs, Lizards. He didn't know hat to do, or what was to come, but none the less, he was anxious as to what may happen. He started to think back to his home back in the Moot, his fellows back in Dreiflussen would probably be having their third supper by now, roast lamb, roasted and salted pork, light red ale; while all he had was this little morsel of corn bread. It won't last long at all, he thought. His stomach rumbled as his thoughts drifted back to the events which would occur soon...Though nervous, he knew he'd be ready for almost anything.

He thought of what could happen- Until he noticed a dusty, old worn gold button on the floor. Jumping onto the floor, he screamed 'MINE!" in his high, almost squeaky voice, and grabbed the button, before getting up, dusting off his overcoat, and placing it into his pack. Coughing, he got back up onto the bar stool after several more miserable attempts...

Akhanatan being a wood elf didn't associate well with others. Also being an oracle of a wardancer troupe he is seldom with his own kin. Standing outside facing the wilderness he uses his senses to listen to the forest and the trees. If only the patrons of the dragon head pub could be quiet for a moment!

Ron
25th May 2009, 22:59
Ron stood impassively in a corner of the bar. Surveying the rest of the occupants, he hid his contemptous emotions towards the lesser races around him. The trace of emotion he showed was the a gleam of anger in his eyes as his gaze fell upon the hated ratmen. He knew how to fight and kill them all. He was bred to for that purpose. Having been a servant of the Old Ones and protector of the might Slann Mage-Priests in the face of death and destruction for centuries, he know no fear. He was taller and broader than any other of the Temple Guard of the Temple of the Sun. Battle-scared and hard-scaled, any legion of the Old Ones' servants would have been inspired to have him lead them, but his duty was to the Slann of the Sun Temple.

Why he was sent here, he could not begin to image. But he knew that the all-knowing Slann Mage-Priests would have had their reasons for sending him to prevent the success of Chaos team's goals. No doubt their failure by his hands was part of the Great Plan and he would see to it. Again resisting the urge to tear the skaven limb from limb, Ron continued his silent vigil. Waiting for the moment to step in and make sure that the Order team came out of this in one piece so that the Great Plan would be fulfilled.

Gnomesbane the Dark Elf lurked in the shadows of the pub, watching the wretched vermin move about. "Yes, drink your ale. It will make you that much easier to catch and drag back to the ships later." The bartender surprised that he has been called Foamy shakes his head and points at the swordsmen dressed in black in the corner. The Foamy simply raises his head and throws a knife at Ron which just misses the lizardmans head and pins a notice on the wall listing the names of the people who will record some event in the near future.

Moodz toppled to the floor, his cloak flapping over his face as tumbled and rolled. He flung it off of his face, let out a loud sigh, and sat there, embarassed. Nidnerd accussed him of stealing a dog collar at that moment.

"I did not steal-' Moodz' attention turned to the ground suddenly, his eyes widened. Spotting an old rusty nail on the gorund, he quickly lunges forward, and snatches it into his pocket. He then turned back to Nidnerd.

'-Anything. I stole nothing. I don't have a dog collar....I only have this belt.' Pointing to his new belt, Moodz chuckles and nibbles some more on his corn bread which he had taken out again.
He sat there on the ground. Staring angrily at the Lizardmen who had just shoved him off his chair, which was a total annoyance. It took him almost ten mintues to clamber onto the thing, and he comes along and with one tap knocked him flying off. Hmph.

He awaited their first task, and what spoils it would bring.

26th May 2009, 16:03
Ron strode through the bar, pushing the drunken lesser races out of his way. As he reached each of the lesser races that were to be part of his team, he whacked each across the head as they seemed to have fallen asleep instead of responding to the secret messages being sent out to all of them. He passed over the crazy dwarf Doohicky though, as he was all for the means that were discussed to bring lesser races of Chaos down.

Doohicky
26th May 2009, 17:01
Wiping a nasty ball of snot from his nose, Doohicky flicks it to land right in the Dark Elf's wine.
Feats of dexterity only ever seemed to work for the surly dwarf when body parts were involved, but he was glad he had not lost the touch.

Running a hand through his bright orange crest the Slayer addressed the Lizard in front of him.
'I reckons we've got it all gathered up. Your cold blood hides a mind of good ideas. Send those Chaos scum their bets. I wager they will wimp out anyway.

Turning to the other chaos acolytes, he sighed. "Can we please finish and perform these idiotic dares, in that we may move to more serious business."

Tarion the Butcher looked around the tiny snacks littering the room. So many different tastes

Elves, like most animals, take on the taste of their diet. Wood Elves are a bit floral, but still delicious. The Snooty Elves tasted more like humans, but you could taste the pretension.
For Dwarves, it's nearly impossible to get the soot off them. Barbecue flavour.
Halflings should ideally be eaten by the dozen.
And walking Snakes were still snakes. Just... wrigglier.

The fur covered monk was not observing his surroundings as most would, he didn't care who came or went, he was intent on the vile Lizardman sitting a few tables away from him. Scythes wanted nothing more than to spread his plagues among the scaly one so that he would in turn spread them among his tribes on his eventual return home. But he also knew that this wouldn't be needed, because there would be no return home for this lizard, except within a wooden crate.

Task #1

Glorc the Black Orc stood at the bar nursing his tankard of ale when he suddenly he left a tap on his shoulder. Turning around, he bearly had time to register a hooded and cloaked figure before Le Shirrif delivered a sharp kick in Glorc's neither region. Cackling hysterically, Le Shirrif fled the bar into the night as the the orc chased after, bellowing in fury. Having lost his prey in the darkness outside, Glorc stomped a little bow-legged back toward the bar. He was about to enter it again when a thick, muscular arm reached out from the shadows and pulled him back. "That was just a puny human kick, greenskin." Doohicky hissed, "Let me show you what a real kick feels like." The dark street and nearby alleys echoed with Glorc's shrieks; accompanied by an odd, thumping noise.

Back at the bar, Pox and Nidnerd were rather forceably placed at either end of small table by some rowdy drunkards for a classic drinking contest. The barkeeper brought over what looked like the oldest bottle imaginable to the table and not so much poured as plopped the contents into each of the contestants' goblets. Encouraged by the shouts(and knifes) of the crowd around them, Pox and Nidnerd each raised the goblets to their mouths and took a sip. Both keeled over and lay on the floor, much to the disappointment of the crowd, which split up as everyone went to find some other form of amusement to pass the evening.

Over in a corner Ron and Baragash were both trying to decider what the wraith was violently trying to communicate with many gesticulations and faces. But whatever it was trying to say did not seem to make much impression on either as them as they both snarled their frustration and left the wraith to wave his arms at someone else.

In a great feat of strength that left the occupants of the bar dumb-founded, both Sinister and Gnomesbane each hefted a drunken dwarf and carried it upstairs. The rest of the bar in shock as the lithe elves carried the hefty dwarves with seemingly little effort.

A great amount of squeaking and squealing drew the attention of quite a few irritated drunkards. A skaven assassin was bragging over a tankard of beer of the many killing blows he had landed on many a Lord and Champion. Belching loudly, he claimed he could take any two of them. Yelling and cheering for blood and a display of arms, the crowd brought forth two struggling and squirming characters: Kilroy and Moodz. Unable to escape due to the crowd around them, Kilroy and Moodz circled the rat, trying to make the most of the situation. Unfortunately, the skaven for too quick for them. Leaping at Kilroy, the rat flailed viciously at the goblin. A stay kick sending him flying out of the circle of onlookers. Turning on Moodz, the assassin slashed widely at him. Moodz managed to block most of the strikes, but one blow got through his defense and sent him crashing to the floor. As the rat leapt on Moodz to finish him, there was a terrible roar and Ron came smashing his way through the ring of onlookers. A single swipe from his scaled arm sent the skaven, screaming through a window and out into the night.

Preferring a more skillful performance, some of the more sober characters in the bar dragged Tarion and tone.tran outside and thrust a couple of long-bows into their hands. Each taking an arrow and setting it to string, Tarion and tone let fly at a scarecrow a good ways off. Tone's arrow struck true, but Tarion's was a bit off and missed the target.

Having been left to their own deceives for the most part, Scythes and Shotcoder were simply forced into a very comfy chair. They found some money in it, but not much else happened to them. Their evening was very pleasant except for maybe a touch of boredom.

Rewards

Scythes and Shotcoder get 5 Crowns but no XP

Tone.Tran, Sinister, Gnomesbane, Le Shirrif and Doohicky all get 5 Crowns and 1 xp for completing their dare. Ron also gets this after searching the assassins pockets for loot.

The rest get 1 xp.

Extra rewards:

Ron, Baragash, Le Shirrif, Scythes, Sinister, Shotcoder, Gnomesbane and Doohicky get 15 extra crowns for being story writers.

"Is that really the best you could do?" he cackled, before ascending the stairs to his room. Instead of sleeping, however, he reached into his robe and pulled out a leather-bound tome, entitled, "Records of the Canticles of Change", and began muttering the words under his breath.
"Once there was one, now there is two, once there was pink, now there is blue..."
A passing patron stumbling blindly up to his room later in the night saw a blue glow emitting from under Shirrifs door, and a small goblin with his ear between the crack between door and floor. He later attributed this to his drunken state, and forgot all about it.

Task 2- A contract

With the dares done both teams went to their own ends of the pub drinking and waiting for a contract. Very soon an incredibly rich merchant comes into the pub asking for the strongest team to come forth to do a job for him. The chaos team quickly rises only to be pushed aside by the orderly team who using their charisma convince the merchant to give them the job and with the contract sorted head out on their glorious quest.

Meanwhile the chaos team grabs the merchant and with some… intimidation convince him to tell them the contract and cracking their knuckles they head off to show the orderly team that they are nothing compared to them.

Task

Right orderly team you have to get supplies for your trip on your noble quest you can do this in 3 ways.

1. Visit the nearby village- The kind and lovely peasants will be sure to help you on your quest.

2. Pray at the shrine- Pray at the nearby shrine and maybe the gods will grant you a blessing.

3. Talk to a nearby merchant- This merchant may be able to sell you some wares to help you on your quest.

Chaos team you to need supplies to help show that lot your better then them and can easily complete the contract. You can also do this in 3 ways.

1. Ransack the nearby village- Those weak and wussy peasants are sure to have some stuff worth stealing or at least provide some sport.

2. Smash the shrine- The shrine has got some gems in the stonework which could be worth a fair bit once you destroy it and remove them.

3. Rob a merchant- Ohhhh perfect he’s old, weak and got lots of stuff payday.

I should point that because both teams will be going to the same areas a fight is most likely going to break out between orderly and chaos team members go to the same area.

Shirrif stopped, looked puzzled, shook his head, and then grinned again. Shirrif suddenly spasmed, magical energy escaping his frail form. Concentrating, he directed it at a mug of ale. Shouting curses at the weedy Goblin who was hiding somewhere, Doohicky decided to move on to where he thought he would find a good scrap.
At the very least he hoped to find information on where there would be a fight worth having.

Baragash

There definitely needed to be some killing, maiming and burning soon, or Baragash was going to go insane. Actually, given the present circumstances, even some semi-maiming would be a good start...and maybe the odd broken limb. Baragash licked his lips in anticipation of the slaughter to come.

Patiently the witch elf tracked her prey, silent as an shadow and more deadly then death herself - for this abhorrent being could not be allowed to stay within her presence much longer - yet despite the hatred, she waited, and waited for the oppertune moment from which to strike.

Shotcoder gave a cold glance at every member of the chaos team. Their deaths would prove her loyalty and her strength to Athel Loren. If a few of her allies had to die along the way then so be it, but Athel Loren would be proud.

Ron was tired of the presence of so many lesser races. Growling in frustration, he let out some his feelings by cracking a few ratmen heads as left the bar. Task 2

Assassination

Seeing her hated High Elf cousin at the Shrine, Pox stalked slowly towards Tone.Tran. However, Pox's plan had been revealed in the movement of stars thousands of years ago, and Ron was in place to tweak the balance of fate. The Witch Elf is no match for the strength of the Saurus, who lands several strong blows, forcing Pox to retreat.

Town

Gnomesbane and Baragash fall back on what they know best: cruelty and destruction. The Corsair and the Ogre run riot through the Town, slaughtering the villagers, whilst Le Shirrif searches the corpses for auspicious omens from the Gods of Chaos in the entrails of the dead.

Merchant

Tarion seeks out the Merchant, but is ambushed by the cowardly* forces of order have laid a trap for the mighty Ogre, it seems the only way the forces of Order have a chance is to overwhelm the great Champions of Disorder with weight of numbers. :smt098

*>.>
No one said the story had to be unbiased
<.<

Tarion reels of a Bonecruncher against Moodz, but is unable to hurt the Halfling. In return Moodz and Nidnerd pepper Tarion with arrows until the Ogre is driven off. The ambush leaves Tarion in an unstable mental state, as he becomes paranoid about even the smallest shadow. Meanwhile shotcoder sticks** close to the Merchant, whilst Doohicky spends his time "calibrating his weapon"***.

**That hurt me as much as it hurts you....
***That wasn't originally intended as a double entendre. Honest.

Shrine

As Ron is defeating Pox, Tone.Tran and Sinister begin to investigate the Shrine. However, they are challenged by Kilroy and scythes. Reaching out to the fiery heart of the Dragon spirits, Tone.Tran attempts to form a magical sword, but Mork thwarts his efforts. Kilroy also attempts to invoke Gork, but feeling slighted by being placed second in the pecking order, the Orc God heads off to stomp on something more deserving of his almighty wrath. Kilroy lines up Tone.Tran with his pistol, but seeing Ron laying the smackdown on Pox, decides he'd rather not become lizard snack today, and headshots Ron, leaving the Saurus even slower than usual.

Flaming-sword-of-death or no flaming-sword-of-death, Tone.Tran is more than a match for Kilroy, and dispatches him with a well timed backhand from his silken glove. scythes' somewhat....fragrant demeanour proves too much of a distraction for Sinister, and the Wardancer is left shaking and vomiting for several days. Tone.Tran decides that fire is the answer to this - or any - problem, but still can't commune with the Dragons, and is easily brushed aside by scythes. Fortunately, the pointy-eared drama queen is quite adept at playing dead, and is able to slink away unharmed whilst scythes proceeds to defile the Shrine.

All Aboard The Pain Train!

Pox- Weakened state for 2 tasks
Kilroy- Slow witted for 2 tasks
Tarion- Disturbed for 3 tasks
Tone.Tran- Miraculous recovery
Ron- Slow witted for 3 tasks (which makes you stupid)
Sinister- The shakes for 2 tasks.

Now That's What I Call "Special Branch"!

Impressed by the protection provided by Athel Loren, the Merchant donates 2 Shields, 2 sets of Light Armour and a Sword to the Orderly team.

What A Pleasant Supplies!

Both team also find a Supply Wagon with 10 Crowns in each one.

All team members get 1xp

Err...So What?

New feature - Supply Wagons

These are something new for Fantasy Factions and they are, in a nut shell, a team inventory. Crowns and equipment of all kind can be deposited in here and then be picked up by another member of your team. Currently it contains:

Chaos Supply Wagon – 50 Crowns
Orderly Supply Wagon – 10 Crowns, 2 Shields, 2 Light Armour, 1 Sword.

Anyone can put stuff in and take it out but you have to let Foamy know first so he can keep track of what is in there so people don’t end up getting things out that aren’t in there. Also before any of you ask, yes you may put something from your race in there and another race may use it though class specific items still can only be used by the class that they belong to.

Nidnerd sat on a stump chuckling to himself as he reminisced about about his anticlimatic battle against the ogre. What amused him most was the look that appeared on Tarion's face when he appeared from the treeline as if from thin air. Nidnerd continued chuckling as he counted his crowns.

Gnomesbane
2nd June 2009, 01:05
Gnomesbane paced back and forth in a slow, orderly march, "You all performed well, and fought hard, I will give you that. Where I am about to go next, however, only one may follow. It will be difficult. The Ogre will probably try to eat you. If you survive though, riches will be had. For me. Those of you brave enough, come forth." he said, as he turned to the row of heads he had assembled on pikes.

Kilroy
2nd June 2009, 01:20
Kilroy slinked away in a daze. His head swam and his general sense of direction was extremely murky. He wobbled his way around the chaos camp, waving his crude flintlock pistol in the air. Eventually, he fell down in the chaos cart, semi concious.

'HA!" Thought Moodz to himself as we wiped a bead of sweat from his borw. 'Showed him, I guess'
He sat now, looking at the items the group had aquired, shields, armour, a sword. None of which was beneficial to him besides the crowns. He did however become intrigued with the small buttons and gems on the armour, and went around, while the others weren't looking, pulling off the many buttons and such that adorned the armour, hoarding it in his back pocket. Laughing to himself, he quietly snuck away to await further instruction. His longbow shouldered and his quiver full.

Suppose you'll be wanting task 3 now then okay here it is.

Task 3- Your off

After getting supplies and leaving the remains of a village behind both teams headed off towards there intended target a ruined temple in the wastes north of Kislev. The orderly team had decided to head through the border princes, over or through the mountains, head towards Sylvania, a brief stop in Mordheim and then off to the temple. The chaos team had just decided to follow them as it A) meant they could easily find the temple and B) allowed them to torment the orderly team.

Soon the teams arrived at a new village with a pub which was the immediate destination and also the best place to get information on how to pass through the mountains. However one hell of a fight is going on seeing as this pub doesn’t have no fighting rules like the last and you’ve gotten yourself involved.

Task

Everyone loves a pub fight great way to spend some time and get info as long as you don’t take a table to the face of course.

1. Kick a Goblin – That goblin seems all alone should be an easy thing to beat up and loot.

2. Drunk swashbuckler – He seems quite skilled though being so drunk his skill has most definitely plummeted compared to what it used to be.

3. Skaven mob – A clanrat with a couple of slaves would probably be the best to ask after some persuasion of course.

4. Sleeping slayer- That slayer is asleep despite all this and has a map with him might be worth trying to nick it.

5. Defintely a big un- That is one big orc and his boasting about his treks through the mountains might be useful information if you can defeat him.

6. Bar Maid- She’s quite beautiful though seems to be able to handle herself in a fight maybe she would be worth talking to.

7. Beat up someone on the other team- Perfect excuse to do it really though no real rewards for doing it.

Tone walked into the Pub wondering *what happens if an orderly member and chaos member attempt the same, do we fight?* With the thought aside, Tone looks towards his prey and conjures his powers ready to get some information.

Moodz glanced around the pub. His small stature meant he wanted to avoid as much combat, up close at least, as possible. Looking around, he noticed several things he could take advantage of. Taking out a piece of bread, he began to nibble on it nervously as he looked and contemplated the situation, not knowing what could happen.

Le Shirrif
2nd June 2009, 16:51
Le Shirrif wandered into the bar. His hands and mouth dripped blood, and he was smiling, in an idle, happy-go-lucky way. He felt lightheaded and joyous. He wandered over to a table in the back corner, and sat, staring at a wall. As he looked, words began to carve themselves into the wood.

"Once there was pink, now there is blue..."

"Erm, excuse me?" The barman said nervously. "Could you... not do that... please?"

Le Shirrif glanced at him, and turned back to the wall. The barkeeper suddenly fell to the floor, thrashing and holding his throat. Skin had grown over the man's mouth and nostrils. Within minutes, his corpse was grey. With surprising efficiency, a second barman stepped from the back room and began serving drinks, and another grabbed the corpse by its feet and dragged it out of the back door, tossing it into a pile of corpses, with various injuries. The new barman nodded at Le Shirrif, and turned away. Shirrif began to idly lick the blood from his fingers.

Greenskins.. Hrrumph, if there was one thing Doohicky did not want it was the substandard race in the bar, but they were here and they looked to be picking for a fight, and a fight they would have.

Checking his Dwarven Handgun for the umpteenth time the Slayer prepared to jump into the brawl and take down as many as he could. This didn't seem like a place to find his mighty doom, but it would be good practice.

Nidnerd
2nd June 2009, 23:47
Nidnerd quietly entered the bar and sat in a corner. The stench of blood, sweat, and spilt beer assailed his nostrils and almost forced him to leave. He would make his team and Athel Loren proud once again.

Shotcoder laughed at the tired Chaos team follow her and the orderly team into the bar. Could they not handle the fact they were lesser than the Orderly team and Athel Loren herself? This would be the task Shotcoder would prove herself. Athel Loren would be pleased....no more than pleased. She would make me one of her champions, a queen among treekin after this journey. Shotcoder Smiled and pondered her future in the forest.

Ron
3rd June 2009, 15:25
Ron was thrilled with the allowance of fighting in this pub. He was still sore from the cheap shot of the goblin, but he would have to wait. The ratmen still blighted the world with their foul presence. Contemptuously remembering the horrors that the plague rats had caused at Quetza, Ron stomped toward the ratman that had joined forces with the Chaos Team; Bellowing his challenge to the hated foe.

Ron
4th June 2009, 05:37
As the ratman slunk back to the Chaos team, Ron threw back his head and roared his praises to the Old Ones. Their blessings combined with his centuries of experience in their service had allowed him to make rats receive that much more of what they deserved for their disruptions of the Great Plan. The rat had proven more difficult than he had first imagined, but he, the servant of the mighty Old-Ones, had won in the end.

Cleaning the filth off his blade, Ron returned to the rest of the Order; confident that he was more than capable of furthering his part in the Great Plan.

OOC: At any rate, that was a pretty even match there, Scythes. Well fought.

Factions, Task 3

Unsavoury Acts
The atmosphere in the bar was tense as the two teams sat at their respective tables. Many patrons of weaker constitutions slid out of the back door. Moodz noticed Baragash's hulking form staring at him, and decided the best option would be to vacate the area. As casually as he could, he slinked into the bathroom. He peered through the crack between floor and door – the Chaos Ogre had forgotten all about him. Sighing in relief, he wandered over to the sinks. Suddenly, a cubicle door swung open with great force and cracked the halfling upside the head, throwing him to the floor and knocking him out. Pox rubbed his shoulder as he strolled out of the cubicle, laughing. After delivering a kick to the groaning halflings head, he wandered out of the bathroom.

Meanwhile, Gnomesbane slid behind Tone.Tran and prepared to cut his throat. Before he could, he felt a tap on his shoulder. Turning around, he got a glimpse of Ron smiling at him before a giant fist hit him in the face. Tone.Tran and Ron then pummelled Gnomesbane to the floor, leaving him moaning in a puddle of vomit.

On to business
After glancing at the massive stone troll lurking near the little Goblin, both teams decided it better to avoid him, and casually headed for other tasks.

Tone.Tran and Sinister headed towards the drunk swashbuckler. As they crossed the room, they noticed Kilroy heading to the same target. Glancing at each other, the headed toward him. With a great rush of power, Tone.Tran gripped an ethereal blade of pure flame that had whooshed out of nowhere. Noticing the elves, Kilroy squeaked, looking for an escape route. When he found none, he raised his arms and screamed, “TARKA! DALL! NAKKA!” Suddenly, a giant foot stamped downward, splintering the Inn's roof and sending the patrons running. It steamed toward Tone.Tran, but Ron sprinted across the room and flung him away with a push. The foot landed on Ron with a horrific crunching sound. The foot wavered, then vanished. Kilroy's mouth dropped open. “It... worked??” As the Goblin stood dumbstruck at his own success, the two elves snuck up on him and beat him crapless. They then strolled over the to swashbuckler. The swashbuckler waved his sword in a complex, eye dazzling pattern. Sinister rolled his eyes, then punched the swashbuckler in the face. The two elves dragged him into the cellar, to the sounds of screams, and begin interrogating the unlucky pirate.

Scythes, Tarion and Le Shirrif wandered over to the group of Skaven. After a brief conversation with Scythes, and frequent glances at Tarion and Shirrif, they decide they are happy to indulge the newcomers, handing them a scrap of paper with instructions scrawled on in.

Doohicky drew his pistol and ran screaming at the Big 'Un. He let of a shot that blew a chunk out of the Big 'Un's forehead, but before he could do any more, the Orc flew forward yelling, crushing the dwarf under its vast bulk. From behind the Orc, Baragash appeared. Baragash roared and carried on beating up the unconscious corpses, drooling all the time.

Nidnerd and Shotcoder swaggered up to the bar. Nidnerd looked uncomfortable, but at a pointed look from Shotcoder he sighed. Putting on his best seductive grin, he turned to the barmaid. “Hey baby, how are- that's odd...” Hearing a scream, Shotcoder turned and saw Nidnerd flying across the room. He crashed threw the wooden wall and landed in a water through, unconscious. Shotcoder expertly decapitated the Lahmian Vampire Thrall, spinning and thrusting her blade through the vampires heart. Grimacing in distaste, Shotcoder wiped the black blood on a drunk Orc's shirt. The Orc turned angrily, but seeing and elf with a sword and a dead vampire, thought better of saying anything.

After gathering their wounded members and scrounging whatever they could from the wrecked bar, the teams returned to their tables amongst the wreckage.

Wiping the blood from his mouth, Moodz got up, a massive headache was all he could feel, the kick had rendered his dizzy and extrememly sore.

'Those unsavoury Chaos people! How rude!' He spat, angry and disappointed that he was unable to fulfill his duties for this event. Getting up, he slung his longbow over his back, and wobbled out into the bar, falling over three times. Embarassed, he sought the comfort of a chair, and sat down awaiting further information, holding his head in pain.
A light quickly went off, and he remembered his pack had several loafs of herbal medicinal bread. Picking a pice up, he quickly nibbled on it and ate it, it didn't taste the greatest, but it would do.

Task 4- Ugh Goblins

With some information gathered and the bar now complete wreck the teams continue on their journey towards the mountains. The journey was rather uneventful minus the occasional bandits who got squashed and the beggers that the orderly team simply ignored and the chaos team placed bets to see how far the ogres could throw them.

As both teams passed a farm the sound of a war party of some kind could be heard approaching fast. As they got closer both teams realised it was a decent sized goblin force obviously coming down to pillage the nearby villages. The orderly team decided they would not let that happen and prepared themselves for battle while the chaos team decided to help seeing this as being some decent entertainment.

Task

Oh great goblin raiders just what you needed

Well the goblins will attack you from 3 sides and you’re going to have to defeat them all to protect your supplies which means both teams working together unfortunately.

Now the farm your using to defend your supplies has 1 hedge along the left side which counts as soft cover while the front has a fence which also count as soft cover and the right side has nothing.

The main goblin attack is coming from the front while 2 smaller groups are coming from the sides. Both groups will be 12” away from the front and sides.

PM me which side you are guarding and a word of warning if a side is overrun the goblins will go for the barn which has a toughness of 2 and 20 wounds and if it gets reduced to 0 the goblins will steal stuff from your supply wagons. Don’t worry players not in combat will move to defend the barn though the goblins will only use their attacks against the barn door so plan well.

Temp Shop

Scroll Maker

While putting the wagons in the barn you notice there is someone in it. He is a scroll maker and for the fee of 25 crowns he will give you a scroll which will contain the level 1 spell of any lore your race has access to which will count as a EI and a bound item with the power level being equal to the spells casting cost. These are 1 use only items and the spells will not be changed so what the spell says it does is what it does.

While limping along the road, Gnomesbane planned out all the ways he would flay the Lizard. The insult to his pride for that attack at the bar would not go unanswered for. For now, though, these Goblins had to die.

Ron
7th June 2009, 03:39
Ron was frustrated once again. As before he had protected the student of the Slann, but he had been brought down once again by the weedy, lesser race upon the spider. He would have to wait though. More of the scum were coming and the supplies necessary for this part of the Great Plan were in danger of being stolen. Readying his weapons once more, Ron prepared to fight off those who would hinder the Great Plan of the Old Ones.

With his flaming sword raised, Tone rushed towards guarding the barn. He was determined to kill many of these detestable goblins. Hatred ran rampant in him as he felt the need to rush forward into the midst of goblins and slay them all.

The witch elf was still bruised and recovering from her run in with the damn lizard - but she was feeling better - oh yes she was! her damaged pride was starting to return as she re-counted the vicious assualt on the halfling midget, slowly she would work her way up and get revenge on those more powerful orderly members - as for goblins, they where small and insignificant she would need little help defeating them.

The battle finally began as the goblins set-up their positions around the chaos and Orderly Wagons. With 30 Goblins. 5 wolf riders and the Boss to the front and 10 spearmen and 10 archers to each side the two teams had their hands full. The two teams stand their ground except for Pox and Scythes who charge the front ranks of goblins but are intercepted by the Wolf riders. The Spearmen move forward while the archers stand their ground. The Wizards are the first to strike with Tone.Tran kills two spearmen, Kilroy killing one and Tarion forcing the goblins to the front run away in terror. Le Shirrif casts call of glory on Pox. On the left flank Shotcoder and Moodz both kill a goblin while Kilroy misses but they all dodge the incoming goblin arrows, on the right Nidnerd kills one goblin but Sinister is taken down by an arrow and at the center Doohicky whiffs with his firearm. Scythes plague censer fails but he is unharmed by the goblins and slays two in revenge while Pox dodges the Goblins and kills 2 as well.

After looking around Tone, Ron, and Doohicky move to help Nidnerd who was assaulted by the Spearmen but shoots one down with his stand and shoot reactions. On the other flank Shotcoder, Baragash, Moodz and Kilroy charge the spearmen. Both sets on Goblin archers move forward into better firing positions. Le Shirrif and Kilroy cast their spells killing 6 and 5 goblins respectively while Tone cast Flaming Sword of Rhuin and Tarion casts Toothcracker on Pox successfully. At the front Scythes slays the Big Gobbo boss and Pox slays the last Wolf Rider. Le Shirrif kills one goblin and Tarion kills 2, while the goblins fail to do anything in return. On the opposite side the spearmen are slain with Baragash killing 2, Shotcoder killing 2 and Kilroy, Gnomes and Moodz contributing with 1 kill a piece. On the other flank they kill all but a single Goblin who runs for his life.

Again on the front Scythes and Pox move quickly to help Tarion and Le Shirrif. On the Left they continue on into the archers and so do Doohicky and Ron on the Right. Tone uses this time to incinerate 5 goblins with his magic and attempting to cast Baleful Transmogrifcation Le Shirrif miscast and get knocked out with a big clap of thunder. Pox is also KO'd from the strike and Tarion is also wounded, but the attack kills two goblins as well. Back on the Left Baragash and Shotcoder again slay two goblins a piece and Kilroy's spider preys on the last one. While on the other side Ron and Doohicky kill the last goblins easily. The two teams grab their wounded and head back the their wagons and try to get away from each other as fast as possible.

Task 5- How do you get through these bloody mountains?

Both teams continued on their way until they reached something they all knew would be a problem to cross. The World edge mountains stand before you with multiple routes all with different perils from Skaven clans to angry dwarves oh and the occasional dragon who has a home somewhere in the mountains.

Still they needed to be crossed and both teams looked at the options in front of them and made their choices.

Task

Oh the world edge mountains these are going to be a fun thing to cross.

Well you’ve managed to identify 5 different routes through them but none are particularly pleasant.

Path 1- This path is quite an easy one but the bones of many dead races that are scattered around it isn’t a good sign.

Path 2- A tunnel seems to go straight through the mountains but that’s not usually a good thing.

Path 3- A dwarf keep that’s abandoned can get you through or at least you hope it’s abandoned.

Path 4- Hire that guide to take you through though only person can go with him.

Path 5- Go through that path which is all nice and sunny, filled with cute animals and a clear view of the other side.

Your decision on this task will also affect what happens on the next task as well.

So make your choice.

Tone.Tran attempts to use Conflaguration of Doom and succeeds (5,1,5) but Le Shirrif stops it (6,1,6)

As the groups split up to find their seperate ways through the mountains, much bickering can be heard as the good and evil sides are forced to travel together. On the first path Baragash and Gnomesbane are squabbling with Shotcoder, Sinister, and Nidnerd, pushing and shoving each other and making many rude comments. Nidnerd goes too far calling Baragash an abomination that must be destroyed and weapons are drawn when suddenly a young Sun Dragon stomps its way into the middle of their path, obviously angry from being awoken by all the ruckus. A gout of flame engulfes the group but noone seems harmed by the intense fires. The five unlikely companions charge at the beast swinging a variety of weapons, mostly clanking off its armoured scales, but Baragash does manage to cause two rather grievious wounds. Too bad for the Ogre this only made the dragon angrier and he stomps Baragash flat. While the Dragon's attention is centered on Baragash, Shotcoder jumps on its back and manages to finish it off with a solid blow to its head. While Baragash is laying on the ground the rest of the group pry a few dragon scales off the monster before continuing down the path and through the mountains. Gnomes, knowing there's no way he'll be able to carry the Ogre, so he just injects him with a few drugs, and though a bit weaker than before, he manages to get up and make his way through the mountains.

The entire rest of the Goodly team make their way into the tunnel under the mountains. They don't notice they're being followed by the Witch Elf Pox. After traveling through the tunnels for a few hours they find themselves at the same intersection they've been to at least once before. Obviously lost, the mages tap into the winds of magic to find the true path, part way through the casting they're beset upon by a large group of ratmen. There seem to be three packmasters leading a large group of giant rats and a rat ogre. Tone.tran makes living torches out of two of the giant rats while Moods blasts a large hole through the chest of a packmaster with his handgun. The beastly rat ogre charges for Tone.tran but Ron manages to get in between the two, taking a wound for his rashness but managing to deal one tot he rat ogre in return. Doohicky and Pox carve a bloody path through the remaining giant rats and packmasters with glee, and not much effort it seems while Tone.tran lines up for another magical blast on the rat ogre. A massive pillar of fire engulfes the rat ogre and by the time theflames die down there's nothing left but a pile of ashes where it was standing mere moments before. The skaven are skinned and after passing through the mountains, the groups sells their prizes to a local hunter.

Tarion wanders off on his own into the apparently abandonded dwarf keep. Not three feet into the keep he is attacked by a mob of night goblins herding ravenous squigs ahead of them. At the sight of Tarion the squigs turn and run in the opposite direction but amazingly the night goblins stay and fight. All that could be heard was the laughing of Tarion and the screams of dieing goblins as he chopped them to pieces with glee.

The guide sits down against a tree to await the next group of adventurers to traverse the mountains. It's too bad noone took him up on his offer, he could have safely brought both groups safely through his secret pass.

Le Shirrif, Kilroy, and Scythes go skipping down the bunny trail, stomping on as many roses as they can. Suddenly their world becomes all wavey and dissolves before their eyes, replaced by burned out tree trunks and corpses of dead animals. A large orc shaman steps out onto the middle of the path, laughing roughly as his illusion fades. Loud noises can be heard all around the companions as a mob of orcs come rushing out from behind trees, ambushing them. Shirrif's first spell is stopped by the magic of the shaman, but his second kills an orc handily. Kilroy calls upon Gork who stomps down upon another ork, flattening it with his mighty foot. Kilroy them blasts a large hole through the skull of a third ork, dropping it in the bushes before it can make the path. Scythes swings his plague censor, the poisonous vapours dropping a pair of orks who fall to the ground in spasms, dieing in mere moments. Shirrif somehow manages to slay the pair of orks who charged him while Kilroy is knocked to the ground and beaten senseless, not that he had much to begin with. Scythes, wanting to yet again make a name for himself, charges the shaman and crushes his skull in a single powerful swing from his censor, killing the leader of a mob of attackers yet again. Shirrif again calls upon the winds of magic and the last two orcs become living torches, running in circles screaming until they both fall to the ground, all the life gone out of them. Scythes rips out a tooth from each of the orks he killed and drops them into the pouch containing the teeth from his previous encounter. Shirrif, feeling a bit down about the sad surrondings, conjurs up another illusion and the companions again go skipping down the bunny trail.

He strode back and forth and thought on what he should get.

Spotting an old rusty necklace, he quickly snatched it up, and walked off. Full of glee that he had found such a valuable item, well, to him it was valuable, anyway.

Tarion walked out of the keep, casually gnawing on a goblin bone.

With a thought, he reached into a pouch and seasoned the rest of the goblin with salt, before continuing to gnaw on it.

Task 6- Er where is everyone?

Both team emerge from the mountains some in better condition then others and prepare to carry on with there quest. However everyone soon realises a slight problem which going down all these different paths has meant everyone has ended up in a different location on the other side. Deciding you'll meet up again at some point you head through a forest wondering what lurks for you in here.

Task

Okay time for you to navigate this forest but you’ve all got yourselves separated from each other due to going down the different paths in the mountains.

Now there are 4 paths trough the forest and all of them aren’t very nice however if you chose either path 1 or 2 in the mountains you can only go down paths 1 or 2 in the forest if you chose path 3 in the mountains you can only go down paths 2 or 3 and if you went down paths 4 or 5 in the mountains you can only go down paths 3 and 4.

You can also only challenge or assassinate someone who has gone down the same path as you from the last task. Have fun.

Shirrifs spate of martial prowess had made him realise he was no weakling in combat. Tzeentch truly had blessed him. Wandering to a passing trader, he haggled for a set of armour, then headed to the chaos wagon to check for any equipment that could aid him.
