Here it is a new list i'm going to try, if works well i'll up it to 1850
What my plan is, attach the Shas'El to the gun drone squad and you now have 10 extra wounds. the rest is kinda meant for what ever arises

Couple of things:
Upgrading the fire warrior leader is fairly pointless if you are not going to give him a markerlight, so dont bother with that.
Flechets are fairly ineffective, in my experience, especially since the HHs are going to sit way back anyhow. Trim those points out. Consider upgrading to smart missles on the HHs, since they have greater range and can fire without LOS.
With 2 HHs and 3 Broadsides, the crisis suits really do not need fussion guns. MLs are much more versitile and better at downing medium vehicles at long range (like land speeders and ork truks) which is something the list presently lacks.
Last suggestion is to consider getting shield generators on the Broadsides, if you can find the points. They are surely going to be eating some serious firepower and the addition of the shields will have a greater impact on their survivability than multitrackers would have. You may want to get one on the Commander for the same reason.

on that Crisis squad! WHY THE BLOODY CRAPPAGE DO YOU HAVE ANYTHING BUT FIREKNIFE?! @.@ A squad that had a burst cannon, a fusion gun and a missle pod is totaly uselesssssss, the missle pod has big range for sniping weak vehicles at range, or killing stuff at range. Burst Cannon is for mowign down basic weak infantry at close range, and fusion gun is for killing strong vehicles at very close range.
Now. They only have a 50/50 chance of hitting, so any attempt at making it a multi-tasking squad by doing that is totaly crap.

The flechettes are because I have some of the weirdest luck on pen ageinst me most of the time the hh guns are blown off whats there left to do? simple mow things down like the carni and hive tyrant i ran over. as for the suits the whole point is to be adaptable in ANY situation. as for the broad side you stick him in trees oh look FREE invonerable save. every thing has a purpose in this army the HH and Broads are for heavy armor like the monolith and LR. the suits take out lighter vehicles sutch as rhinos the FW are the snipers and the shas'el and drones are for jumping around and popping any thing it comes to (the reason the 'El has a FB is he is a "lone fighter" and needs some help if he comes up ageinst tanks. as for the shas'ui's it gives the FW a Ld of 8.

How the CRAP are they adaptable for any situation more than a fireknife squad?!
Ok, you want to kill a swarm. You get 2 shots at long range with the missle pod guy. Then one round of fire with everything, then your in CC. If you got 4 more shots of missle pod, more wounds overall would be delt. So thats not aplicable for swarms.
Fighting Marines! Well. You're getting shot, because you dont have any but one gun longer than 24. So, they dont do that ether.
Killing strong vehicles! Them Russ and LR with their av 14! You MANAGE TO FIGHT YOUR WAY TO THE VEHICLE! Luck? Who knows, you're in 6 inches without dieing! Cool! .5 chance of hitting, about 1/3 chance of getting a pen, .166 chance of killing the av 14 vehicle... Assuming you make it... So, 5 turns of shooting it will pretty much guarntee you a kill... In other words, the squad sucks ass at killing vehicles. Thats the job of the RAILGUNS.
Killing Carnifexes! Well. There are guants infront, so you're fusion is usless. And you're plasma is still cutting it close, if you're within 24 of that Fex, where are the hormies, leaping/winged warriors, ravenors, other guants, flying Tyrants, spore mines ect? So, cant kill them...
Killing WRAITHLORDS! The one situation where the non-fireknife come somewhat close. The Starcannon will shoot at ether squad, so thats the same. The Fireknives will be able to unload more missle at it, which is a reasonable advantage... But what it really comes down to, is that burst cannon huts it on 6's, and the missle pod on 5's... So they dont really do that better...
Killing heros: Longer range and higher s, and mroe shots from Fireknives means much easyer time takeing out heros...
So basicaly, give all your crisis suits plasma rifle, missle pod, multi-tracker. Its the best, unless you're makeing a tank hunting/try for once round kill on big things deepstrike squad, then take 3 fusion. But you're not, as thats your HH's job.
Listen well young padawan, my Fireknives (6 of them) were the bane of everyone I played against's existance. They can kill your opponents aswell, if you use them...

In other words, your flachettes did nothing? They just make them take an armor save, which is 2+... So it would do one wound? Assuming they DoG'd (Which is pure IDIOCY on their part, as they can just sidestep and charge you in the back...), the flachettes wouldent do anything...? Unless for some reason they DoG'd with a Tyrant or Carny with one one wound left...?

aye I have no doubt they are good I use em to but i'm trying something difernt and im not real big on the huge sink of points knive's are

im less concerned about you suit armourment than how you divided your squads.
you have 3 suits in a unit but have a free HQ and elite slot left. WTF
in every SINGLE battle Tau should always use up EVERY HQ and elite slot
so.....
take 2 fireknife shas'el (good place to start every army)
take 2 regular crisis of your choice
max 6 stealth bonded, no shas'vre

They are like, what, 8 points more than your current configs? Stop making excuses. If you want to use guys that are statisicaly worse, jsut say "I'm going to use them anyways, I dont care about justification" The same as I do with my 96 Spineguants.

ummm arent broadsides are BS3, crisis are BS4, if so your logic is off ritta, but yes, i agree that that configuration is worthless... id recommend a tau army something along the lines of plasma/burst cannons on the crisis teams, then broadsides, then lots of fire warriors. makes for a great all purpose army

the list looks pretty solid against 3+ armour armies but against hordes i think that you will just fall to short as i don't think you'll be able to do enough damage
(on a side note you mispelt wining its supposed to be winning)

I disagree having BC's instead of Missile Pods, as they only give you one exta shot at 4 pts cheaper, while the MPs have 2x the range better str. and ap.
also definately try to give at least some of your crisis suits either sheild gens, or gun drones, otherwise they eat it against krak misisles, HK missiles etc... which have str. 8 and ap. 3

You know Ritha, maybe if you didn't give advice that immediately labels something as crap and then beat down what someone is trying to say in their defense with more uses of the word crap then people would be more willing to take you advice.
However I have to agree with him on this one Jui'my, the squad is spreading itself too thin trying to do everything, and I took a look at the fire knives and they aren't half bad. (That is probably a major understatement but I don't play Tau so I am not in a position to give much advice)
