For the pirate part, I'd say dark eldar, but they're not exactally invincible...Although their hq has gotta be one of the nastiest and nigh unstoppable CC units I've seen...*shudder*

Yes. Guns like dark lances are great like bright lances. Very fast army.

My basic understanding of DE is...they're fast. Really fast. They use transports a lot, which usually get destroyed during a battle. They've got some really nasty wargear on their hq. And then there's the fact that they look awesome. But...they're fragile. Not very durable either. You should probably look over the armies on the GW site if you havent already, to find one that appeals to you...
