Broodlord upgrades

Had an argument with a kid at my local game store about Broodlords upgrades and how it works with retinues. If you give a Broodlord feeder tendrils does it give the bonus to the genestealers since they are a unit within 6 inches?

Yes. I don't have my codex with me (at work) but ya the Feeder Tendrils confer their bonus to all units within X distance. I can't remember if it's 6" or 12", I think 6".

yup the broodlord tendrills work on his retininue and any brood within 2"

Another handy option is a few Lictors.

So the answer is yes if I pay for only the Broodlord the whole retinue gets it right? No paying for the whole retinue.

yes your right, its a nice way to save those extra couple of points (well...you save between 2-8 points, pending ret size; but if asda has taught us anything, its that every little counts XD )
