Hey There,

Alright, just a quick question, since Summoned Greater Daemons come in from reserve and somewhat 'Deep Strike' out of the body of another being.. are they allowed to assault their first turn on the board or not? Same with Summoned Lesser Daemons... are these units allowed to move and assault on the first turn or do they wait it out a turn before they can do so? I would hope not since most Daemons don't really 'shoot'.

I believe all daemons can assualt and shoot (although without a ranged weapon they can just run) the turn they arrive.

No movement phase effectively but thats it.

Your answer can be found in the Summoning rules for generic and SGD in the csm codex

If it's generic lesser or greater daemons from the csm codex they can run or assault, if it's daemons from the daemon codex they can run or eu stand still but not assault.
