Alrighty,

I have a guy at my LGS that bought this guy off of Forgeworld and I'm not sure what to do about that rule about the armor. RAW means that he could use that 2+ save for ANY attacks made against the Daemon. This meaning, Lascannon shots, D weapons, anything. Is this true? What about C'tan weapons that ignore saves?

Sure this guy is Apoc and costs 888 points, but... 2+ save against anything is pretty interesting. How does anyone else interpret this? Or has it been updated or anything? Thanks.

According to my big shiny new book. He isn't apoc only, although I can't imagine anyone letting him be used in a normal 2,000+pt daemon army.

His 2+ save is an armour save, so AP1 and AP2 weapons still negate that, as do power weapons.

yeah not sure even by RAW he can get away with that 2+armour save as invulnerable - i mean he even has a 4+ invulnerable stated in his rules!

but yeah he is not as tough as Scabianthrax to kill, plenty of lascannons can take him down.

I do love Scabeiathrax. I almost happy cried when I saw he has 10 wounds :D
