Allied DH/IG question

Need a quick answer :P, since i'm about to order a leman russ for my IG army, i was wondering, i'm planning on taking a squad of termies as elite for my IG army, and a friend of mine suggested me why not take a land raider with them, now i know i can take a LR since it is under transport and move 5 termies on it, however the LR crusader is under heavy support... i was wondering if i can take that one instead or is it only as a heavy choice? My plan is to attack yarrick with the termie unit so it would be awesome to have them riding that LR, otherwise i would have to either drop to 4 termies or make yarrick "catch" them when deepstriking.

No, you can't take a Land Raider of either type as a Transport choice for a squad of Terminators or a Grand Master, only for an Inquisitor or Inquisitor Lord.

damn :( , maybe reduce the squad number to 5 and toss yarrick on a chimera?, is that possible?

You could. But ... why? If you wanted a Guard heavy DH army, induct them. That way you can still take the Terminators and the Land Raider. No Yarrick though.

Well mainly because i have only 6 GK termies, an eversor assasin and an Inquisitor from DH, and like 90 guardsmen, 2 russes, 3 command squads, straken, yarrick and 4 commissars :P. I just bought the DH models cause i loved the look of the termies, specially because they were like, big and dynamic models compared to the old chaos termies, got the assassin free when i got something online. And the insquisitor... well they are just too badass to not have one
