So with 2010 drawing close - what is your new year resolution going to be? For those that don't know - a New Year's Resolution, is an aim, a target which people set themselves to do in that new year. These may range from small lifestyle changes, large materialistic objectives, major lifestyle changes (i.e. stopping smoking) etc.

So what's your's going to be?

Well I thought about this - what didn't I do this year that I probably should have done? I suppose there's sort of a few categories:

Must do
Do well in my AS levels - as they form part of A level scores, which will go on to get me into university hopefully [/*:m:25umts17] Look round universities and get an idea for where I want to go [/*:m:25umts17] Get a part time job - I started looking this year, but so far i'm on the 5th rejection[/*:m:25umts17]

Personal objectives
Keep in touch with friends who move away - come September people I know will be going to university and whatnot, and well I kinda want to keep in contact with some [/*:m:25umts17] Enjoy a second cricket season, and prove my doubters wrong [/*:m:25umts17] Get through 2010 without suffering from any major diseases/illnesses, broken bones, damaged ligaments etc. [/*:m:25umts17] Good mental health as well to the last one - i've first hand experience of how messy bad mental health can get. [/*:m:25umts17] Change the way I talk to people - I can be somewhat insulting (in a lighthearted way) but not every likes that and well, I'm fed up with pissing people off [/*:m:25umts17] Get fitter, stronger, healthier, faster - from a sporting point of view, this would really help[/*:m:25umts17]

40k related
Plan, assemble and paint fully a decent sized force - I was thinking 1000 pts at least. Although this might not happen, with school work and proper work (hopefully) free time might be thin on the ground [/*:m:25umts17] Sell surplus 40k to get a bit of money (it won't be much as it'll be going fairly cheaply on ebay) and to create a bit of space.[/*:m:25umts17]

So yeah - they're all I can think of currently, and well I doubt I manage to do all of them, but hey - don't aim, don't try and you'll never know.

-Get on a Fire Department
-Get in better shape than I am now.

That's about it at the moment... I'm sure I'll get more as we get closer to the new year.

find a decent girl and try not to ever let her go

Nice sentiment, but you're how old? 17 at most? If you can, great, go for it, but don't bank on it. [/bitter experience]

20k posts.

So, that's January done then. :P

Erm, lets see, serious ones here:

Get a decent job with a decent salary and one where I don't feel like crap about the thought of imminent work.
House.
Reignite my faltering self motivation.

Don't loose what shreds of sanity remain.

You mean you have some still?!?
