So I saw it this morning, very good but lacking a little something from the Orginal film I think, not sure what mind you. But plenty of laughs for youn and old alike :)
Hammer seemed like a grade A prick from the word go.
And as just like the first one hang around till the end of the credits.............
[spoiler:k5cwspqd]SHIELD Agent Coulson Pulls up in his car in New Mexico near a crater, camera changes to a view from the crater looking at Coulson and as he's speaking on the phone he's says "We've found him...."
Camera zooms out till a Hammer (Mjöllnir) comes into the foreground. (http://www.collider.com/2010/04/27/iron-man-2-easter-egg-revealed-see-the-first-images-here/)[/spoiler:k5cwspqd]
Fucking epic :D

I'm hopefully seeing it later in the week. I wasn't too impressed (or disappointed) by the first, but this one looks proper nice.

I could've sworn I saw a commercial saying it doesn't come out till may 7 in the us. Is it already out in the uk?

It came out in the UK yesterday. I saw it last night, and whilst I enjoyed it, I thought that the plot was both underdeveloped and jumped around too much.

Came out yesterday (Friday) in the UK, for once we get a film first :P
I agree with Dark, it didn't have the conhiesion of the first film, but there was a lot of cool stuff mind you, but the final fight was a little short and disapointing.
Still good!

Not seen the film yet - but one thing of note from the commercial.
The theme song - no the theme song is not 'Iron Man 2' by ACDC; it's Thunderstruck by ACDC. Do not try and repackage a song just to try and sell a film; it makes me want to the film less.

The UK ad i've seen uses Thunderstruck.

Seen the film. It wasnt very good, but it wasnt very bad.
I love Pepper so much. <3 the actor (who's name I suddenly cant remember) plays her beautifully, perfect match of character and looks. I'm not usually one for skinny chicks, but she's just f*cking stellar.
Scarlet (sp?) was meh, as usual. Dat ass, but she's got a derp face without personality, and her (mis-)interpretation of Black Widow made me QQ.
War Machine was awesome, much better than I thought. Loved Ivan and his actor, really well played.

Pepper is played by Gwyneth Paltrow, and I agree about Scarlett Johansson was quite derpy face wise, though her fight scene was pretty cool.
Warmachine was pretty cool, and for the 'Ex wife' lol :p
I quite like how they made Tony a bit darker in this one if only for a bit....

It was OK I think, the coreography was nice, but the constant posing was kinda cheesy. Made the stunt double a bit too obvious, imo. If there was less posing and more fighting I would've thought it was awesome. There's also something about Black Widow having perfect prom curls that just irks me, especially when it keeps perfect shape throughout her entire action sequence. Just a bit too hollywood for me.

Mickey Rourke as Ivan Vanko was funny.
"I want my bord (bird)"
"I can give salute."
And...
"You lose."

Just got back from watching it. I'm going to go out on a limb here and say this;
That was far more awesome than the first one.
There, I said it. Iron Man 2 is better than Iron Man in every single way.
You lucky jerks. I need to wait four more days. :P
Not as good as the first, not enough explosions (though they did try lots at the end), still an ace film though :)

It cam out Thursday here (witch is in fact Wednesday for you guys) so we got it 2 days earlier... :D
Saw it Thursday night, and loved it, I don't think it was as good as the first, but I don't know why... there was just something missing...

I'm not entirely sure about the movie. It was a lot of fun, but I don't think it was as good as the first... I think there were perhaps a few too many plot holes and some scenes that weren't paced well. Samuel L Jackson was excellent, however.

I absolutely loved it. Iron Man was good, but Iron Man 2 was awesome.
CruxTerminatus
4th May 2010, 18:19
the final battle scene seemed rushed... it was alot of build up for it, but it only lasted a few minutes.
Just saw this yesterday. Really awesome movie when they were doing "Iron Man 2" and not "ZOMG!!1!1 AVENGERS!!1!!1!1" :P
I do agree with CruxTerminus though. I wanted to watch more of Whiplash kicking Ironman and Warmachine butt. Warmachine's "epic of missile of doom" was funny as hell though.

The first one was much better IMO. I think the first one was better since Tony was captured by the terrorists and everything was a bit more mysterious.

This
also, it seemed more like a comic book than the first movie
ie more cliches, bigger fights (albeit a bit rushed at the end)
