Returning to gaming. Started 40K 22 years ago and now my lad has picked up the mantle and got me back into it. Still got my orignal Space Marines. Loads of changes in the game, where did The Squats go? :icon_e_wink:

Welcome back. When I left it was only for 5 years and the game felt all weird and new to me. I can't imagine how odd things must be for you.

GW pretends the Squats don't exist anymore. It used to be a fairly hot topic but it's sort of died down.

The Squats got munched by the Tyranids, all of them. All at once. With ketchup. There are however rumours of a race of smaller stature beings as part of the Tau Empire called Demiurg, and it is from them that they get Ion technology.

I would like to dispute this - the Tau came in and took what was a concept, backed it with their own money and linked up the Demiurg with the Earrth caste, who have production facilities in low cost countries, and show'd them how to mass produce, chucking them a royalty that was, we wont destroy you!
