How bad is it?

For the same points you could use Chaplain Lemartes, he has 1 extra wound and leadership, but doesn't have melta bombs

You haven't added enough points for the melta bombs on the Honour guard, its 5 points each not 5 points for the whole squad, so it should be 175 for the squad.

I'm guessing you will have the tactical squads in combat squads so the missile launchers can fire from back while the melta gun and power fist can move forward in the rhino? If so the troops are pretty good.

I always try to put EA on all of my vehicles but I guess at lower points games its not really mandatory, especially now that its 15 points.

I don't like to use named charters. Guess I'm just odd. BTW would it be better to add a librarian? Same points moves like it has a jump pack, and has a hood.

It says "any honor guard may be given Melta Bombs" not all that they all have to. So I think I can give just one melta bombs.

While that is indeed correct, at low point games, your better off with a single HQ choice, instead of 2

I wouldnt bother with an Honor Guard, Lemartes is better off using the DC as his honor guard, plus its better that ways so he gives them the re-rolls. (rending + rerolls = death) Also Honor Guard w/out power weapons...you might as well take an assault squad for cheaper.

I would always stick with 5 at the least. This way they can count as a larger scoring unit

I've never agreed with upgrading my Vets in tac squads w/ power weapons or power fists, theyre not supposed to do any close combat, thats what all the assault squads and DC are for. In addition, PF's are super expensive, since you have 2 of them thats 50pts! thats an attack bike right there!

I would also drop one of the ML's, just have one of the rhino squads split into combat squads and have one stay as a 10 man squad, while the other splits.

By dropping those PF's you should be able to add EA to that sucker. It's really difficult to write up a 1k BA list, it really is. I myself would go about it a little differently, but those are at least what my amendments would be to your list.

I think you need to learn to listen to other peoples opinions for a change, instead of busting into a thread and expecting everybody to listen to you as if you're the only one who knows what hes talking about, just like I do (most of the time :D ), since I have been here my gaming style has changed a bit from listening to yours and other's suggestions, maybe you can learn form listening to other people too...

It's very difficult to discern the inflected tone in the written word. Although I admit I am a very sarcastic person, I also do tell people when they make mistakes. Oh I know I'm not the only one who knows what they talk about when it comes to BA, your not so bad yourself Lemartes. Also please quote me at any time when I have said your less of a BA player? I've never said such. If you believe that I have, that does suck, it really does. Do you feel me too harsh on my reviews?

Just because I like to put forth my opinions alot, doesnt mean I dont listen to other people's opinions. Also if you've noticed, your the first person to respond to Ethele's list and told him what he's done wrong...I actually gave it time to marinate and have other's respond just to see what they say. IF anything, I've rarely seen you respond to any of my BA army lists...

I'm glad to hear that your gaming style has changed because of me, it means you realize I'm not lying about tactics I post.

How can I learn from other people's opinion's when no one gives an opinion in the first place? In my book, its a far better deal to ask a question or state an opinion than to keep quiet and presume. Presumption is the mother of all eff-ups.

I don't know, I have always felt as though AoB has valued my opinion and has given me as much feedback as I have given him. I just think he is incredibly sarcastic (as am I :D ) and that is a hard thing to transfer over teh iNterWeBZ

If you can find 10 points anywhere (really hard at 1000 points; if theres nothing you can stand to drop, just ignore this sentence)), I would suggest changing that into a Veteran Assault squad with powerfist. Other then that, its a nice list, and one I would enjoy playing.
