Two Games Down! Black Legion (1500 pts)

Last thread I will ever post about my own army, promise! I just played my first two games (ever) with this army and had good success against an Ork player. First game I won on the extra turn in a C&C. I got lucky and sniped all of his units holding his objective with my Oblits. Second game was a Seize Ground draw, had the game gone a turn longer I would have been able to knock out the last orks on one of his holding troops. Defilers are just out of control.

I get the feeling that this is a fairly crappy army and that things were kind of on a razors edge the entire time, except when the Defiler was involved anyway. The CSM didn't do much except get mauled in both games. The flamers were marginal in the first game and I didn't even get to shoot with the CSM squads in the second game at all before they got rushed and murdered. Was probably more to do with my bad deployment than anything else though.

Would chosen be a better choice? Or just more berzerkers and rhinos? Seems that most people just do the berzerkers in rhinos. Plague Marines? I don't know where to begin.. or should I just stick with this until I start losing consistently?

Give the CSM squads Icons of Slaanesh. They get I5 and will do better in close combat. Havoc launchers are nice on Chaos Rhinos for more template fun.

Why do you have personal icons on the berserkers?

Those CSM squads need rhinos, drop one of them completely, add in another defiled or set of bolts. At 1500 its 3 scoring units is more than enough.

You also don't need full berserker squads. 8 a piece will do.

Forgive me, I'm not sure what a 'set of bolts' refers to.

Also, which special weapons should I be using in the CSM squads?
