Need help building an 1850 list

I'm new to the forum and daemons. I am interested in playing them as a welcome change from vanilla space marines.

I have no models as of yet, but this list represents what I will be trying to pick up and/or build from. Any and all advice would be welcome.

HQ- Bloodthirster w/ Unholy Might 270
TROOP- 12 Bloodletters 192
TROOP- 12 Bloodletters 192
TROOP- 10 Horrors, 1 Changeling 192
TROOP- 6 Plaguebearers 90
ELITE- 6 Flamers 210
ELITE- 4 Bloodcrushers 160
ELITE- 3 Fiends 90

HEAVY- Daemon Prince w/ Mark of Tzeentch, Iron Hide, Bolt, Breath, Gaze 195

HEAVY- Daemon Prince w/ Mark of Nurgle, Iron Hide, Noxious Touch, Breath 180

1771 so far, 79 remaining. Really looking at a good mix to play with, not mono-god. I'm not planning on fielding daemonettes simply because I can't stand the models.

Well... first, give your Bloodthirster Blessings of the Dark God... very cheap upgrade and saves you from any force weapons you encouter... a-la-grey knights. Second, spend the points on all the upgrades for your Bloodcrushers, makes it a LOT harder to kill one model as you can spread the wounds out. Thats... 55 points... And with the 20 extra I would go ahead and give the Bloodthirster the... plasma pistol upgrade... of which I cannot remember the name.

Does this seem like a good list to play with though? I built this without consulting any other lists and would love to hear what people think could be done to improve upon it.

Don't give Blessing of the Blood God to your Bloodletters, that's a complete waste of points. I don't even think you can do it, but even if you can, it only affects one guy. Not worth it at all.

Instead, split your Horrors into 2 units of 5 and give each unit Bolt of Tzeentch.

Thanks. Does this seem like a decent list? I read through your thread on Daemons before I even built this and tried to reach a good level of balance so it wouldn't matter which wave came in first.

It's okay. It's not the most competitive list, but it's not a terrible list. It's certainly workable.

I'd give the Nurgle Prince prince cloud of flies for sure, getting assault and defensive grenades for 5 pts is a steal.
