Some photos of my first completed WH40k set. A tactical squad of Salamanders from the 2nd Company.

For a first set of Marines, they're not looking too shabby at all! :D Good smooth greens, attention to detail such as eyes and a fairly good stab at highlighting too. Nice shiny metallics as well, which I know can be a bit of a pain to do well. Well done. :D
Some things to look at though: Mould lines. It's annoying I know, but they do somewhat bring them down. Also, look at the flamer guy's backpack. See where the spray has missed the inside surface a little bit? That can be remedied by brushing on some black carefully, but it's an area to watch out for next time. ;)

Thanks for the constructive ctirique. I guess I should invest in a modeling knife for trimming. I mixed Dwarf Bronze and Burnished Gold for the aquilla and shoulder trimming, and I'm pretty proud of how it looks.

Only critique I have would be to get a more brownish skin tone as opposed to a pure black skin tone. Otherwise, a great first batch! =)

Thanks. I get what you're saying, but I've always seen them as having absolutley pitch-black skin, so that's the effect I tried to create.

You did quite a good job then. What I'm saying is simply personal preference. =)
