Okay guys, We have 6 players, i have all of your entries, so we are ready to go.

The tournament is now officially open!You have until the 14th of July to play all of your games.

Please post when your games are arranged here, as i will be randomly spot checking games to make sure you are all sticking to your true list.

Housekeeping rules:
1/ the format has changed slightly, You may play your games at any point in the 6 weeks, if you can play them all week 1, so be it. This is to allow for people who may, say have a week off, and so can play lots. If you have problems arranging a time, let me know and we will think of a way round it.
2/Be sporting, there is no prize other than the knowledge you won the first 40k league. There will be an official forum event hopefully in the future, this is not endorsed by the mod team yet, until we can prove it will work. So have fun and play fair!
3/ all games are 1750 points, played with the same list you entered to me.
4/ Ensure both of you feel the board is fair when setting up. Agree on line of sight etc. (a good standard to use is that units can see through 1.5 pieces of cover. This means that you can see through one piece then into another, but not through 2, if you want a diagram i'll make one)
5/play all games with the standard missions please!
6/Please do not give anyone else tips regarding your opponent, this is giving an unfair advantage.
7/ any complaints- let me know.
9/ Vp's will be counted, so please count them up at the end! Units that are at 50% (not including independent characters) are worth half the points. Transports are counted seperately to their units.
10/ at the end of the game i need one person to fill out thwe following form and the other to verify it please by just posting its correct.

Oh, and can we see what armies are being used or lists or something? We're gonna see then eventually anyway and posting them will ensure everyone is using them right. Not that anyone would cheat, but still. If you want consent to post them you can put mine up, maybe everyone else say yay/nay to do this.

As for special missions, No. Basically, this is a pilot test to see if a tournament like this can work at all, if it does we will be more adventurous next time.

I haven't even stated when's best for me to play - sorry about that. I'm generally freer during the morning and afternoons since I'm unemployed and the wife would interrupt in the evening, wanting her tea made and generally not to be ignored, etc...

Guys, I'm going to have to drop out of this I'm afraid - just not finding the time to get games in, and knowing I'm not really available at the same times as a lot of other people, plus I'm still not super-confident with Vassal (although thanks to Marshall Larkin for the intro game - that helped a lot) and don't enjoy Vassal so much (GW will be pleased to hear!).

As a plus-point for myself, the lack of having time and not being available so much is down mostly to the fact that I'm playing proper games on a regular basis, which is nice at last. And as a plus-point for everyone else, my dropping out won't make much of a difference since I've not played anyone yet anyway!

Still, sorry fellas.

I'm not overly bothered if we do move onto 6th rules since my list lends itself rather well to that. But for fairness I suggest we stick with 5th edition as others lists dont translate as well.
That is if we are still playing.

Unfortunately, my computer has died on me and I can't get another one until August. If we want to continue, I am willing. I don't think this was a failure, by the way, Larks. Just a bit of bad luck scheduling-wise and then a bit of computer issues.
