So, we have RAAM, and now we have Skorge. They are essentially polar opposites, yet serve almost the same purpose in the game.
RAAM
A general in the Locust horde, this guy's a walking tank. Massive, bulky, and armored to the teeth, he's nigh indestructible. He also can somehow command Krill to surround his body and protect him from harm. This guy is the classic variant of bad ass. Huge, tough, muscular, and constantly pissed.

Skorge
This fellow is the leader of the Kantus Priests in Gears 2. He's taller than RAAM, but as you can see, considerably less bulky. Where RAAM simply strides into a fight calm (and hard) as a rock, Skorge leaps around with speed and agility. He uses a double sided chainsaw staff and the new gorgon burst pistol.

So, which do you like more? Who do you think is cooler? Who would win in a fight? etc etc. Personally, I don't know which one I like more. I prefer RAAM's style of fighting (or lack thereof), but Skorge just looks so much more bad ass. It's a tough call for me.

Even the guys at epic say Skorge would tear RAAM to pieces in a hartbeat.

Yea, thats why I didn't make this a "who would win" sort of thing. This is more just to see who you like more.
Also, after fighting Skorge, I really don't see how they said that. He seems so bad ass, but really doesn't seem that good to be honest.

Not that i've got Gears but RAAM sounds so much cooler, however I think Skorge would be such a better boss to fight against, as in one who is more challeging to fight against.

RAAM is my favorite. Just strides into battle and does his "Kill those blue bastards!" action pointy command thingy.
RAAM was a tank, but since Skorge could saw real tanks in half....

Trying to do this without spoilers...
I'm doing it on hardcore and the fight against skorge took five minutes and it was "dodge dodge dodge mash B dodge dodge dodge mash B etc etc."

Don't remind me thought it would be something epic but it was still better than the very last part that is for certain

As a singular character, Skorge is much cooler, also the kind of character I prefer, but when you bring in the Locust and how they are as a race, RAAM wins hands down. He's like a Locust, but gone epic! (that was a Hordes/WM reference, now epic as in "epic win" or any of that bull).
To fight against? Well, RAAM was excellent, and when I'd finally beaten him (after several tries) I was damn happy. With Skorge, well it's as Coldfire says, but, I suppose the fight with him continues into the next act.
I just finished the game there, and I had that moment of "when the hell will it end!?" but in a good way. It just kept going and going!

My Xbox froze about halfway through them. :x I knew there was something, but i don't feel like playing through the last mission to see it right now.

Just load your last autosave, which happened just before the final "fight". I just did it, now i'm waiting through the cutscene/credits.

Don't have GoW2 yet, but RAAM was a tricky bugger to beat in GoW

I never realised how handy the torque bow is against RAAM first time round. Yeah...I died....horribley.....but with the Torque bow and a sniper rifle, near enough easy.

RAAM was definitely tougher to beat. And he looks more badass.

Haven't played GoW2 yet but from what I've heard Skorge is harder to kill. But RAAM has a certain attitude to him that can't be over looked, for instance the cut scene when he kills Kim everyone is ducking bullets, running for cover and he is just walking towards his target, beats the crap out of him and then lets his minions do the clean up.
But I have to admit, a double sided chainsaw staff sounds pretty cool.
