1) Vehciles are never scoring.

2) Yes. Vehicles are units.

It may contest an objective, but never hold it. So not scoring.

I believe the Orks can make Killa Kans and Dreads count as scoring units. My mind is fuzzy though

so its treated as separate to the unit its dedicated to for kill point purposes like combat squads are?

Orks can make Killa Kans TROOPS but they are still not scoring.

Dedicated Transports count as scoring IF they are carrying a scoring unit.

Speaking of scoring units, can bikes be scoring?

Only if they are troops or have a special rule(similar to Pedro's rule concerning Sternguard). The thing with ork mekboys and deffdreads is that vehicles are never scoring(unless they are transports with scoring units inside).

Killa Kans can never be Troops, Dreads however can. Still as you said, NOT scoring 'cuz they have AV.

As far as in an annilation game and a transport scoring... If you are in a tournamnet, they will say specificly if transports are a point in annilation or not. My LGS makes them a kill point. If it does not say in the tournament description, than it is a big fat no. So basicly it is situational. A transport can only score on an obj if a scoring unit is inside it...no if's, and's ,or butts about it! They can however contest any obj... whether or not it has occupants.

I'm pretty sure you're wrong on that last point. You get Kill Points for wiping out units, and dedicated transports are units. Therefore in a normal game (no house / tournament rules) you will get a Kill Point for destroying one.

If you are in a tournament
I think he covered that point. Case in point, the tournament I just played in today did not count dedicated transports as a killpoint.

Except he said this:

When the default is yes, they are worth a kill point.

Ok, I get ya. I was thinking Ross meant something else.
