Ok, my army is beginning to take form, and i though I should put some pictures of some of my best models here so far, so maybe u could spare the time to give me some criticism and tips that could make me better :)
I have seen some sick models here, and got inspired, and I would like to get that good ( how long that will take lol :P ). Feel free for posting any comments, this is my first Blood Angels army, I have painted before, but not good to any standard, really just fast work over some orcs and wood elves to get em done

Now that I'm really practising to try to get good, I have used maybe 2-3 hours on each model, my Baal Predator took over 15 ( lol ), but I enjoy it and have gotten pleased with the results so far ^^
Any comments are welcome :smt001 ( Lol just saw my flamer misses his purity seal  )

I will add more pictures when i get longer into paitning my army ( And could some1 please tell me a way to do something about the white on my captains chest?! looks a little bit off :P )

They're very nice :D Good shading.

Just some things:-

The captains cloak and tabard shouldn't be red - there's toooooooooooooo much red on that model . maybe dark green or even black would look good here.
Drill the barrels out on the weapons - it makes them look so much more realistic.

But overall, not bad at all. :)

Thanks! :D
Well, I promise u, if there was something that took time, it was that god damn cloak :P I tried
green, white, black, but it never turned out right :smt012
So I gave in to red after some time ^^ ( I love painting red for some reason )
I would drill, but I havent gotten a drill yet

Ill post my DC when I'm finished, just started now, its hard with black models as I havent tried
it before :D

Are you going to do the black rim of the shoulderpads? It looks to much red without the different shoulder pad rim color.

Lookin good otherwise.

well, I havent tried black trim yet, as I like the red / orange combo :P
I may do it, as I agree I have a little bit tooooooooo much red

They dont always have black trim anyway, will depend on company and position.

Admit your captain does look a little red :) But they still all look pretty good!

Black is relatively easy to be fair, black ink also comes in handy as the paint itself isnt that dark. Use bits of red trim by starting with a dark red and then putting your blood red on that. Helps break up the black. Also the red crosses also help and will improve the look.

As a fellow Blood Angel painter - I like! Where did you get the banner for the last model please?

Thanks, I have painted 2 DC, but I need to minimize the picture size on school ( dont have Photoshop here -.- ), your tip helped :)

I got the banner from the Blood Angels ( out of date ) codex, just cut it out
