Ok just a question on how deep striking works.

Do you just count up how many you have in reserver and roll that many dice, then chose what ones you want to deep strike?
-Or-
Do you assign a die to each of the units and then roll for each one individualy and thats how you chose what ones arrive?

To put this in as an example, I have 1 demons unit and 1 Terminators unit and turn two comes along, I roll two dice, 1 makes it 1 does not. Do I pick what one deep strikes that turn or should I have assigned each die to the two units I was rolling for?

You have to assign what is coming in before you roll. Doing what you are doing lowers the risk aspect of Deep-striking units as it virtually gaurantees that you'll have access to the unit you really want around turn 2/3. It unbalances game play.

Well, you follow the reserves rule on pg 94(DSing is just a form of deploying a unit in reserve) and those rules just say that a player must roll a dice for each unit in reserve. Then deploy the unit(s) that have arrived after rolling for each unit is complete.

For the sake of balance, I read this as that you have to declare each unit as you roll for them individually.

Thank you, I have been playing that way, but after re reading the rules I wanted to make sure that I was not cheating myself.
