CSm Vindicator vs SM vindicator

I was looking at buying a vindicator and was wondering what the differences between the chaos and the regular SM vinidcators are? Is it just the detail sprues they come with or is the mold completely different?

The detail sprue is different- CSM have the CSM sprue with their special smoke launchers, vehicle plates, I believe spiky bits as well and of course the Havoc Launcher too, while the SM have their own smoke launchers, hunter killer missile etc, and more importantly, have their own cupolas.

AND the loyalist Vindicator can take a 10 point upgrade that makes it just laugh at any form of difficult terrain and go through without even worrying. Dozer Blade? Why? :?

To be honest, you have to roll snake eyes with the chaos one anyway to have to worry about difficult terrain. I know it is a chance of immobilisation, but it's so small I don't worry about it.

Dozer Blade >> Siege Shield. You're spending 5pts to go from a 1/36 chance of immobilisation to zero. Not worth it unless you've literally got nothing else to spend 5pts on.

chaos one is better because it can have daemonic possession

black templar one is also good because it can have PotMS

But it is only BS 3 if it takes Daemonic Possession.

always fire at BS3 or only sometimes fire at BS4

you only have to glance a vindy to stop it shooting for a turn with the regular one, so chaos is better :)

Daemonic Possession is indispensable on Vindicators. Dropping to BS3 barely makes any difference.

if its the same as the predator kit. then it would have to be detail spues.
