Okay, so, I haven't played Tau since 4th Ed  anyway, I was looking through them, and was wondering how people use their troops... Just looking for ideas, seen as my list usually tried to cram 10 Crisis suits in 1000 points. Since the game became more objective based, though, I was stumped on how to change my troops.

Deck out on them. They are armed with the most powerful standard infantry gun in the game and can put out an outstanding amount of fire power, backed up by suits they are nasty. The Tau gunline has seen a resurgence simply due to TLOS so you can basically hit anyone from turn one.

Granted they have few upgrades but they have ML. Always good thing to remove all those coversaves before splatting the orks with a sub-munition.

I personally run 5 squads of 12, 2 mounted in my list. Unless I decide to play static, then its 6 squads of 12 with 6 broadsides and a HH.

Bloody hell, that's a lotta boys. I think I only have about 24, then a box of kroot. I only play to 1000 points, but cheers for the advice. I think I might try and get an army list wrote up.
