    Part Three - finishing touches

    The basics for flocking and painting these pieces is very much the same as any other base you might do. I prefer sand spread generously over piles of PVC / school glue.

    Then a dark color followed by lighter shades to highlight.

    The sand I use is from the Michaels store. I buy it from the fake flower section in 2 pound bags for $4. The glue is the same old gallon of Elmers that I purchased from Lowe's Home Improvement ...

    I nearly regret starting this tutorial. Once you see just how simple it is to create a stone effect it will completely ruin my new reputation as master of home made terrain. I gave myself that title, in case you wondered where it came from...

    The gaps in the vehicle ramps were completed with wall filler, thusly:
