WIP: Beginning Blood Angels

I intend to paint my new Blood Angels army in part to develop my painting skills, and in part to turn 40K into a hobby that I really invest some time in (rather than the occasional painting session and game).

I wanted to give my army a "snow" theme (like they're fighting in a snowy environment), but I'm not sure whether I will incorporate this onto the actual models themselves. I'm open to any suggestions anyone might have as to how to best represent this on both the bases and the models.

I've picked up a single box of assault marines and a chaplain from my LGS to keep me busy while I wait for more assault squads and two sanguinary priests to arrive by mail.

The main reason I'm doing this blog is for the feedback people will hopefully provide. If you like something you see, let me know. Same goes for if you really hate something I've done. I'd much rather have your constructive criticism than continue painting my models poorly if I can help it. Thanks in advance!
