[Mini Mafia] The Village {Town Victory}

Night times never used to be this scary. You remember a time when this was a happy village, nestled in the Welsh valleys. A time when the only people you might see for days on end were your fellow villagers; individuals you knew, individuals you could trust. Then things changed. The Strangers came. It started slowly. One family - tired of city life - wanted to see what the countryside had to offer and moved in. You got to know them, but only superficially (city dwellers never learn the art of village living, you see - always too private and reserved).

However, this was only the start. More people began to arrive, and soon enough the village was overrun with newcomers. People who never really managed to fit in. And with this shift, locals began moving away until you no longer recognised your fellow villagers, unable even to put a name to most people's faces. Then the killings started. You didn't even know the first, found strangled outside her house one evening. The second was a local, a resident of forty years, stabbed in his kitchen while making supper. The killings continued over the next few weeks. Slowly panic spread through the village and people became more isolated and withdrawn. Finally, you received a letter through your door:

Meeting. Town Hall. Today. These killings must be stopped.
-Your Mayor.

You don't even know who this mayor is, but then, how could you? So much has changed over the last few months that confusion and chaos is the norm. Perhaps this meeting will resolve the issue, perhaps it won't.

And now here you are. Only a handful of residents remain, hardly knowing one another and unsure of what is going on or why. All you know is that you want these killing to stop, and you will go to any means to achieve this.

The Rules (hideously plagiarised from Sub)

1) You may only post in the thread if you are a) alive and b) it is during a day phase. Contentless death posts are allowed, but only if they are absolutely contentless.

2) You may not communicate privately at any point unless your PM specifies that ability.

3) I expect you to post at least once every 72 hours. If you don't post within a 72-hour interval I'll send you a reminder PM; if you don't post within the 72-hour interval after that I'll start looking for a replacement and mod-kill you if I can't find one. This will reset each day.

4) Night phases will last 48 hours.

5) You may not directly quote anything I send you privately.

6) Day phases will last, at most, seven days. On the seventh day, if a majority vote (>50%) has not been reached, the individual with the most votes will be lynched. In the event of a tie, the phase will be continued until a killing vote (or retraction) is made.

Attempts to dishonestly circumvent any of these rules may result in a mod-kill depending on the effect on the game.

There are twelve slots available for this game. Anyone can sign up and any more than twelve will be added to a reserve list on the offchance that replacements are needed.

id be willing to sing up as a replacement. Right now im in Kilroys game and running my mini (which is more involved in moderating because of the mechanic than I expected). And if something happens (my game ends before this, or i get killed in Kilroys) then id switch to a full slot (assuming one is available at that time).

which is the exact reason why i did. Anybody out there, or maybe we could downsize by 2 people, may mess up the roles a little bit, but im sure we could make it work.
