Starting Warhammer - Army Info Needed

So after a few years of playing 40k I want to start a fantasy army.
the only problem is, I can't choose between lizardmen and warriors of chaos since both model ranges appeal to me.

so what are the strengths/weaknesses of these armys and style of play.

Lizard men have awesome core if you give them spears and shields, they are just a bitch the get through.

Warriors are the most CC geared army in the game. Chaos warriors are better than most armies elite infantry. Chaos knights are amongst the best cavalry units in the game. Normally you'll be outnumbered playing them though.

Lizardmen have a lot of every kind of unit. Don't really know much about them.
