The double doors on a rhino.

What the hell are these there for. It would be inpractical for space marines to fire from it, as they would have to stand on their comrades, and thats what the hatch at the front is for. As for an emergancy exit, the only reason it might be needed is if the rhino drove into quick-sand so the other doors gets jammed

is this for the old rhino or the new rhino?

for a space marine can stand out of the new rhino quite easily

new, if you imagine how much space they each take, it would be hard to stand up without squishing some other people, besides the massive doors would get in the way of your fire

Remember the vehicles are designed to represent not to be on the same scale.

If you actually try to put models in you will get about 6 marines in and if they are standing they would be hunched over as their heads are taller than the rhino.

I'm pretty sure its the same for all of the races

yeah, vehicles are a full scale lower than troop models and there's some pretty good inconsistencies even between the scale of basic troops in warhammer.
Models are 'counts as', not a scale representation to be taken seriously.

Also don't forget that it is the same chassis that is used for Predators and Razorbacks. The doors are removed to fit the turrets when converting the chassis between the different designs.
