See this is exactly my problem this time. I have painted waaaay more than my challenge but its all the wrong things. monthly challenges at least break it down so my insanity and distractibility lasts less time.

Upon reflection on the things that have been said here, it sounds like a lot of people manage to paint plenty enough, but struggle to focus on sticking to one thing - surely the entire point of this challenge is to encourage or inspire people to do things they struggle with? Therefore, if we did it monthly it seems like it would just be a way for people to continue doing things the way they currently do - which is no bad thing, but in the end seems a bit obsolete? Quarterly means that the Hobby Challenge would continue to give an incentive for those of us who struggle to stick to painting what we "need" to get painted to get it done.

Would people say that's a fair observation?

Either way, should a sign-up thread not be posted by now? I've missed out on the last 2 challenges now I think, and am looking forward to participating in the next one!
