-Flare: Creates an incredibly bright blast of magic, blinding those that see it.
-Push: Magically moves an object or creature as if shoved by great magical strength.
    - Rain: Creates a magical rainfall that can be altered for size, amount of rain, and temperature of the water.
-Freedom: Magic energy repels or blasts apart bindings or webbings or other restricting substances. The spell can also tear down magics designed to keep a creature trapped or unmoving.

    15. Purify: Instantly removes toxins, disease, and other dangers from food and drink.

    20. Turn Liquid: Changes one liquid into another, or alters the properties, such as taste and smell, of the target liquid

    4. Feast: Creates a massive feast to fully nourish and satisfy those the caster wishes to feed.

    6. Spirit Sense: Allows the caster to sense spirits and spiritual energies

    19. Strength of Blood: Greatly increases blood flow to the caster or his target's muscles, increasing their physical prowess manifold.

    19. Weapon Spirit: Brings out, emboldens and strengthens the spirit of a weapon or offensive tool.
    3. Blood Tracker: The caster creates a magical trail to any being whose blood he has. This trail can traverse any terrain, pierce other realms or cross to any other plane.

    Revised:

    Blue:
Spell Missile: Stores another spell within an arrow or other missile. The spell is triggered when the missile is fired, during flight or upon hit as the caster wishes.
Wraithblade: Places a magic upon a weapon that allows it to pass through solid objects like armor or barriers.

    Green:
Bring Elemental: Summons an elemental from its native plain to the caster's presence.
Hourglass: Creates a powerful cage within the flow of time, trapping the target within an unbreakable hourglass of pure energy. When the grains of sand run out, the spell is broken; however, powerful magics can suffocate the victim in the sands of time.

with volcano, you might not need this...since earth is part of both. Unless it was for a theme thing and you wanted rocky/metal jagged upshot things instead of little volcanic fumaroles popping up for use.

and Create, just fyi, is basically the magic version of crafting. Like the opposite of Dr. Manhattan taking apart that tank. So if you had a hunk of wood, some ore, other bits and pieces...it could allow you to use this one magic spell instead of crafting to make a gun. Upside fewer steps and fewer skills needed....downside...higher target number (more chance to fail than individual crafting checks).

Great for in the field perhaps....and you can do it at any step to make the spell easier, just wanted to make those comments

    Name: Dairie Swiftclaw

    Race: Hasza

    Aura: Black

    Spoiler

Dairie Swiftclaw has spent much of her life moving from town to town. She has been an outcast because of her behaviour, and odd view of life. While she practices dark magic – used to reanimate life – she views life as something special, which should never be lost. Loyal beyond comparison to her friends, she never gives up on them – going so far as to bring them back to “life” once they die.

    @Architech - opinions?

My choices are all black magic:

    Necromancy:
    2. Bone Grove: Massive tendrils of bone erupt from the earth, summoned from realms of death where such material is as unlimited as the dirt in the mortal realm. The tendrils form tree-like figures, that cluster as macabre groves and barriers according to the whims of the caster.

    8. Drain: Steals the life force and vital energies of another and feeds them into the caster.

    Voodoo:
    14. Raise Zombie: Brings a corpse into undeath as a minion of the caster.

    18. Spell Ward: An eldritch shield against other magic.

Alright then, let's give this a go.

    Note: Version 1.0

    Name: Tarrik of Balastora
    Race: Human
    Aura: Yellow
    Aspects

    Spoiler

A man of few words, but brings many options. Tarrik is a hunter who prefers to fight with cunning and preperation, luring his prey into traps or weakening them with poisons before going in for the kill. Over the years he has become rather fond of the heavy crossbow and the versatility it brings to the hunt. After many failed hunts, he sought out a particularly vicious mage in the wilds. After being beaten, several times, he finally convinced the mage to one stop hitting him, and two teach him the ways of her beast magic. If he was going to hunt the greatest of beasts, he would need to think like them, to hunt like them.

So yeah, focus on beast magic. Thought there is one spell in blood magic I'd like to learn. Blood tracker. But maybe not vital to begin with.
