    Buying 3 battleforces?

Hi, I am thinking of buying 3 necron battleforces and doing some conversion work to make this 1750 pts list:

Necron Lord (WarScythe, Resurrection Orb, Veil of Darkness)
    10 Immortals
    12 Warriors
    12 Warriors
    12 Warriors
    3 Destroyers
    3 Destroyers
    7 Scarabs (Disruption Field)
    3 Heavy Destroyers

Sounds like a decent list for Necrons? Thanks for any answers!

Yes, seems fine to me. I'd be tempted to drop the Scarabs unless you really need them to bulk out the points. I'd also be very tempted to get at least one Monolith in there. At that points level, the ability re-roll WBB rolls would be invaluable.

Seems pretty good to me. If it's about a 2000+ pt list you either want a lith or some more Destroyers/heavy destroyers in there tbh. Perhaps even another lord for more WBB or even tank hunting support.

I like the Swarms, They are pretty cheap with the field on them and can do some damage to tanks with it too. Well it helps that they are fast and ignore terrain and have three base attacks also.

My wife asked "where do all the models come from?"

    People underestimate scarabs.

I played my brother in a 500 point annihilation match, my SM 5 scouts, 10 tac marines, and 1 captian, versus his necrons, Necron Destroyer lord w/ warscythe, resurrection orb, phylactery. And 12 necron warriors.

His Scarabs killed all my scouts and 2 tac marines

    Armies: W/L/D
    Space Marines: 3/2/0
    Tau 779: 0/1/0
    Orks 485: 0/0/1

Armies I want to collect: Necrons, Imperial Guard

They are not as good as they were in 4th but they are still one of the most underrated and most annoying units in the game. I would not drop them at all. I run my Crons Troop heavy with two units of swarms and a lord sometimes two and about 20 immortals.
