Stubborn vs Fearless.
I've been thinking, what is better Being stubborn or being fearless?
Personally i think stubborn is better especially when your resolving close combat, cause when you loose you still get to roll two dice and get bellow your leadership, where as fearless makes you take FEARLESS saves which IMO end up hurting you more. especially if your horrifyingly outnumbered, whereas being stubborn even if your outnumbered you have a better chance of holding out then being fearless.
the only advantage fearless is automatically passing LD checks.
what do you guys think?
EdmundBlack: My cock has ended the world. I'll put that on my cv.
SourImplant: What's the name of that cantina you like with all the goofy shit on the walls and the mozzarella sticks?
Coldfire: I get my balls ripped off and shoved into my eye sockets by a burley man who then makes a joke about me skullfucking myself.

Stubborn is great for Guard and other low LD armies as it keeps them where they need to be for the greater plan to come to fruition. Being Fearless however ... in my experience, it only serves to enable you to ignore pinning tests of any kind, and on the whole see it as more of a hindrance than a benefit. With Stubborn there's at least a chance of getting out of a situation that you don't want to be in.

Fearless is nice outside of CC, but the fact that it makes a bad CC situation many times worse far outweighs that benefit, IMHO.
My 'Nids and Daemons hate no retreat.
GW does not hate non-Space Marine armies. They just don't give a FAQ.
This song is totally the Battle of Prospero:
LanceWarrior: "1st rule of 40k forums rule-lawyering: Don't argue with Baragash"
Yahtzee: "It's like owning a giant swiss-army knife with 500 different little blades and one folds out into a mini-gun. There is no reason to use anything else."

I have talked a fair amount of people into running Pedro Cantor in their SM armies much to my own pain later when I do not get to run them down for losing combat (ATSNNF basically makes them Fearless if they fail in CC)
My wife asked "where do all the models come from?"
I said "The Warhammer Fairy"

Stubborn really makes it's money in combat, where the majority of Ld modifiers exist, and chances are in your favor. However, Stubborn models are still subject to pinning, tank shock, 25% morale checks etc.
Fearless, makes it money by ignoring pinning, tank shock, 25% from shooting etc. However becomes a liability in combat.
Good judgement comes from experience, alot of that comes from bad judgement
