    2k Marines - Dreadnought monster mash MK2

    After *finding* a copy of the Blood Angels Codex I have created a silly list with..................

    9 Dreadnoughts!

    HQ (220)
    Astorath the Grim = 220pts

    Elites (525)
    Furioso Dreadnought; Librarian, Force Weapon, Blood Fist, Psychic Hood, Smoke Launchers, Shield of Sanguinius, Wings of Sanguinius = 175pts
    Furioso Dreadnought; Librarian, Force Weapon, Blood Fist, Psychic Hood, Smoke Launchers, Shield of Sanguinius, Wings of Sanguinius = 175pts
    Furioso Dreadnought; Librarian, Force Weapon, Blood Fist, Psychic Hood, Smoke Launchers, Shield of Sanguinius, Wings of Sanguinius = 175pts

    Troops (895)
    5 Death Company, 1 Power Fist = 125pts
    Razorback = 55pts

    5 Death Company, 1 Power Weapon = 115pts
    Razorback = 55pts

    5 Death Company, 1 Power Weapon = 115pts
    Razorback = 55pts

    Death Company Dreadnought, Blood Talons, Storm Bolter, Melta gun = 125pts
    Death Company Dreadnought, Blood Talons, Storm Bolter, Melta gun = 125pts
    Death Company Dreadnought, Blood Fists, Storm Bolter, Melta gun = 125pts

    Heavy Support (360)
    Dreadnought, 2x Twin Linked Autocannons = 120pts
    Dreadnought, 2x Twin Linked Autocannons = 120pts
    Dreadnought, 2x Twin Linked Autocannons = 120pts

    Total: 2000pts

    I could go to 10 Dreads if I drop Astorath for a cheap HQ, and the Razorbacks so that the Death Company Running around as a 20 Man Horde of Death. (1 DC Dread for every 5 DC Marines). Maybe even 11 or even 12 if I drop the Libby upgrades and other bits and bobs.

    I like this list over the "Codex" one as it has more Dreads in it, but it is not a Codex army and has no scoring units, but Dreadnoughts are so cool...........

    With unlimited points

    3 in elites
    3 in Heavy support
    1 unit of 30 man DC would give another 6, but would be limited to 5 as they are troops

    So 11 Dreadnoughts

    Do it!
    I'll field an all infantry guard list with no heavy weapons and we can have a fun battle of stupid lists that look freakin' awesome.
