Tau - with additives
http://www.belloflostsouls.net/2011/...ts-return.html
Well then, Necrons possibly pushed back in order to get Tau in? Wouldn't be surprised, and either one would be interesting to see. I'd personally root more for Tau here as Necrons are another MEQ army.
And if the rumour about a Demiurg HQ choice is true (and presumably Demiurg as Troops I'd hope) then that'll be rather appealing too.
This week I am good-naturedly shaking my fist at: Baragash. For being unreasonably reasonable.
Sex, drugs and pointy ears.
Cheaphammer 40p: 2000 points of Marines as cheap as possible.
It'll be alright on the Knight - a slow refreshing of my original Grey Knight army.
Cordova: In my head you're eight foot tall, always carry an officer's sabre, and speak like Theoden at the battle of Pelennor Fields.
Grey Knights don't go to heaven: they go to hell and regroup.

Yar, but rumours are nothing more than that: rumours.
I hope it's true though.

I hope this proves true. Not only for the sake of mechanics, but to be able to field another allied race would be awesome. I can't wait to get my hands on the fluff should this prove true.

Read this on warseer yesterday and it all sounds reasonable and I have been expecting Demiurg to appear for some time - not the first rumours to appear about them but certainly the first to appear with a bit of gameplay mechanics.
Special character unlocking Crisis Suits as troops is a no brainer - especially going by all the recent codices.
What the original post on warseer goes on to talk about is that the new Tau codex is rumoured to have the ability to field army lists of the allies - so Demiurg list, Kroot List as well as a Tau list - so everyone search the net for the old chapter approved Kroot Mercs list.
And if someone calls Demiurg "squats" again I may just have a hissy fit!

And my work here is done!

Seriously though, if this is true I will still call them Squats even if no one else does.

Why am I not surprised that there's likely to be a case of "Take character X, get units Y as troops". Again. Yes, an all suit army would be cool, but do we have to be limited to only getting access to them via a generic Character who will either be the best thing since sliced bread, or sucks more than the Dyson testing facility? It's a concept which works extremely well for Deathwing, but ever since then it's been a case of copying on from that.
Leo - I aim to please. So apologies if I got you in the eye.

Gah! Watch the friendly fire dude! Can you wait till you get home next time, OK? :/
As for me I'm looking forward to a full Empire force with at least once choice of each race in my Cadre.
As for the Crisis suits as Troops I can see that as a Farsight thing as it would make up for his "stand alone" stance, and not having Kroot, Vespid, and I'd imagine no Demiurg either.
Also I can't wait to see how Kroot turn out, cause they have some changes to make if they are gonna keep up with those purposed Squat stats.

Yes!
Another army to be re-released!
I don't mind if it's Tau or Necrons myself.. sliding more with Tau though, as they seem a more interesting bunch of slit-heads to me.
Just don't touch Black Templars now ye hear?
Too late in my opinion.. Wanna be a higher priority for 6th ed

The way people have been banging on about Squats ever since they got gribbled by the gribblies, I'd imagine that a certain similarity to them is likely to come about. Hell, we've space Apes with guns again, so why not vertically challenged techno-geeks?

Human Auxiliaries? They're in the current book aren't they? If so, I'd assume they'd be in the next one as it fits well with Tau to have any race they've come across and taken up the Greater Good to fight for them, but they'd be less important news than space dwarves.
