    1000 Brettonian

    Heroes
    Damsel of the Lady
    -Barded Warhorse, Silver Mirror, General

    Paladin BSB
-Banner of Defense, Virtue of the Impetuous

    Core
    15x Men at Arms
    -Full Command

    11x Peasant Bowmen
    -Braziers

    11x Peasant Bowmen
    -Braziers

    7x Knights of the Realm

    7x Knights of the Realm

So, this is what I currently have. Any advice at this juncture?

For the future, I want to buy or build 2 more Paladin/Lords as well as another Damsel/Prophetess. I am also planning to fill out my Men at Arms to 32 and mirror them into another block. Some trebuchet support is also in my Bret's near future. What Specials and Rares are worth taking a look at?

sorry about teh text heavy, i got a bit carried away.

Trebuchets are a must, i allways take two, in 3000 points higher i take four. for specials i find that pegasus knights work well, i run a unit of 6 and they hit hard and can take some damage aswell.

extra paladins are very usefull, give them the virtue of duty for the +1 combat res, but apart from that have them basic. i would run the knights of the realm units at 9 strong and include a unit or two of 6 man knight errant sqauds, which are very good at flanking. and yes men at arms sqauds dont really work unless there about 30 men, at which point i would consider a paladin on foot

Grail knights are expensive but can do the damage, but i only take them if i have a 1v4 prophetess with lore of life, just so i have good chance of getting regrowth. if you dont want lore of life, then questing knights are a good comprimise, cheaper and still do the job, i run them at 9 stron while grail knights at 7.

When it comes to lords theres 3 main options. option one, lord on pegasus with heroic killing blow gromril great helm, this guy is just for monster controll. option two the duelist lord. this guy is very durable and lasts alot longer than other setups, mainly give him gear to up his armour and ward save. Th third is on a hypogryph, when i do this one i allways give him the virtue of the ideal and the giant blade so he is str 7 ws 8 I 7 and 5 attacks, his main job is to intercept heavy cavalry where he and the hypogryph will tear them a new one, but dont let him get bogged down with infantry.

Hmm, seems to be some pretty solid advice there, Littler. Thanks for it. I can't wait to get back from this sandbox to start building my Brets up.

What is the point of the 15 strong men at arms unit? It seems like it is just there to die, to be honest. =/

Well, this list is built based on the models I currently own. So, yeah, that's why there's only 15 of them at the moment. At some point they will be filled out into a tarpit/anvil unit. I actually want two of them around 30 models strong, probably with some Paladin support in one or both of them.
