Army lists and Army Specific Forums

The mods have recently been discussing the fact that army lists are getting posted in both the Army Lists and Army Specific Forum. While we understand that players desire discussion with players of their army, such lists muddy up the Army Specific forums and dilute the amount of feedback given in Army Lists. As such, it has been decided that all army lits must be posted in the forum designated for them, Army Lists. Any lists posted in an Army Specific forum will be moved.

With this change, we also would like to invite players to view Army Lists as not just a forum to discuss specific lists. If a member would like advice on constructing an army and which units to buy or comparing multiple options, feel free to post it in Army Lists. As you are working towards a solidified list, it fits with the intended goal of the forum. Army Specific Forums should be used for in-depth discussion of units, tactics, etc.

There will be one exception to this. 40kforums Suggested Starter lists will be posted in the relevant army forum so as to not muddy up Army Lists with multiple stickies.

Can we also do something about the lack of tags? There are several posts, and no army tags... Makes phone browsing/helping very consuming.

Is it possible to separate each army so when looking for Necron army lists I don;t have to scroll through Blood Angel army lists and the like?

No, the individual armies will not receive their own Army List sections. However, if you use the Advanced Search function, you can search posts by prefix. Select the [Necrons] prefix and search and there you are.
