2000 point lizards men list

as stated in a different thread i wanted to start a WE army but things kept getting in the way, the thing is i am about to inherit around 1000 points worth of LM and so i figured if i could get a list i liked sorted id swap to these for my first army.

still unsure i get the whole 8th ed ruleing on lists so looking to see if this list is A) legal and actually worth building towards and B) how to improve/am i missing a trick by leaving out slan etc

Essesntially looking at 3 biggish squads heading up the middle backed up by both bigger and smaller cosuins whilst old blood joins the squad with the banner and both squads of cold ones look for lovley squads to chew up

This means cold one cavalry are absolutely terrible.
Buy more kroxigors instead.

I do love kroxigor but I'm a big fan of cold ones have been for years and figure if they mostly aim for larger 'dumber' units they should do ok.

Edit or should I keep one unit to go with old blood and use the 225 for mounted scar vet for extra punch and then another skunk unit?

I'd suggest grabbing the scar veteran on foot with the enchanted item that makes him run fast (jaguar warrior?) he can keep up with the cavalry or sit inside the saurus units and charge out. or go with the skinks and go to town on war machines/fast cav.
He really is very very useful.
With the spare points more skinks are always nice.

Cav aren't that bad, you still have the magical banner which lets you charge an extra D6, that's massive. 3D6 M7 Swiftstrider is a massive threat range, 3D6 M7 Swiftstrider with an extra D6 is even better! People will measure charges, they won't give them you, catching people out is insane
