But that's the beauty of pick-up games. You bring as much as you want, or as little as you want. I'd rather bring 3,000pts and find I only need 750pts, than bring 750pts and find I had the opportunity for 3,000pts. If we just say bring a 1,000-2,000pt army, with lists to cover every common point increment from 750+, then that means everyone's happy as everyone can bring as much or as little as they need, without feeling they're wasting carry space.

I'll refer you back to the fact that I spend 12 hrs on a train getting to and from the meet. The smaller the bag of stuff I have to carry around the better.
I severely doubt I'll be bringing more than 1500pts worth of stuff.

Ok, point taken. Though I would still suggest we set some point of generic points limit, everybody bring a minimum of that, then if people want to go bigger they can organise it themselves.
I would suggest setting the minimum at 1000pts. Its enough for everybody to have a few cool tricks but not so much that people with their newer armies (Deldar, Grey Knights, me with some hopefully new and shiny necrons) wont have that much ready for gaming.

Saturday October 15th. There you go.

This week I am good-naturedly shaking my fist at: Baragash. For being unreasonably reasonable.
Sex, drugs and pointy ears.
Cheaphammer 40p: 2000 points of Marines as cheap as possible.
It'll be alright on the Knight - a slow refreshing of my original Grey Knight army.
Cordova: In my head you're eight foot tall, always carry an officer's sabre, and speak like Theoden at the battle of Pelennor Fields.
Grey Knights don't go to heaven: they go to hell and regroup.

Dammit, dentist appointment

(might be able to move though).
Maybe a poll for the Saturdays in October now we've nailed the month down?

Of course, I know that some people (including me) will likely be down for working on a Saturday so would prefer the Sunday. But my thinking was that if it was the Saturday, folk would have the Sunday to recover instead of going straight to work the next day.

If worst comes to the worst, we could always just have a weekend meetup rather than just the one day. That way if you can't do a Saturday, you can do the Sunday, and vice versa. I know me and Anni would have to stay the night anyway, so going a second time the next morning isn't so much a drag...

I can do any weekend really, just as long as have a little notice. Helps being pretty local to notts.

Ooooh, shiny.
*admires Bara's magnificent pole again*
Voted, but from this far out those two dates aren't exclusive. Should be availble for any in October.

'Dova - I think the consensus on that is to bring a minimum of 1000, more if you can and then just let whatever happens, happen.

all weekends are fine but i would prefer early October. As i need to book time off work t=for this and I need to book off my sisters birthday which is late October, would help me spread out my cheeky work disappearances.
I too would prefer the sunday but meh, what happens happens.
