The useful shops thread
Hopefully I can get a mod to sticky this, but this is the useful shop thread.
Essentially, I am hoping to create a comprehensive list of good places to buy accessories for the game, this can mean cheaper places to buy GW models, reliable places to buy from, good places to get bits from, and more importantly, good sites to get alternatives from.
So to start with, lets begin with the basic
Basic Game Sites
Spoiler
Alternative sites to buy from
Spoiler
Good Bits Sites
Spoiler
Alternative Bits/Models
Spoiler
Other Stuff
Spoiler
Please, if you find a good site, post it here and I will add it to the list, hopefully we will get a nice comprehensive list of sites to make it easier for us all to get into the hobby easier.
And please, post any sites you think are relevant, find a good site that shows scratch building schematics? post it up! find a site that sells hobby tools cheap? Post it up! Plasticard? Post it up! etc etc!
Lets make it easier to find what we want!

If Aliens ever do contact us, it will be through the Internet, and then 4chan would scare them off.

Maelstrom and Gifts for Geeks are good alternative online retailers for all sorts of games.
I know Andy and Arch aren't really keen on them, but I swear by Maelstrom, especially for WarmaHordes.
Necrons
Dark Eldar
Death Guard
Nurgle Daemons
Traitor Guard

Arcane Miniatures - the best place to go if you actively hate your wallet. http://www.arcaneminiatures.co.uk/
This week I am good-naturedly shaking my fist at: Baragash. For being unreasonably reasonable.
Sex, drugs and pointy ears.
Cheaphammer 40p: 2000 points of Marines as cheap as possible.
It'll be alright on the Knight - a slow refreshing of my original Grey Knight army.
Cordova: In my head you're eight foot tall, always carry an officer's sabre, and speak like Theoden at the battle of Pelennor Fields.
Grey Knights don't go to heaven: they go to hell and regroup.

This place: http://www.productsforwargamers.com/ is great for inexpensive essentials such as bases etc for pretty much any game system. Good cheap terrain too.

Dragon Forge Designs has some good custom bases.
http://dragonforge.com/
Reaper Miniatures has some oddball models and paint sets. Just won an award for their new Mouslings minis.
http://www.reapermini.com/
Micro Art Studio carries customer bases and conversion bits and tools. They have a couple of killer "Great Wolf Rider" models that work well for Thunderwolf Cavalry, as well as a line of Soviet Goblins to give your Grots a bit more character.

Kromlech has some great conversion bits, including the best cybork bodies I've seen.

Got a list of sites I check regularly at home, so more to come tonight.

http://www.modelbits.co.uk/ UK based bits site. Yes, I know, a lot of bits sites don't update very often. I ordered three bits from here, took four days to get them... But it's better than nothing.
http://www.scribd.com/ a website that has PDFs available to view online. It includes several out of print codices as well as a few current ones, which are routinely cleansed from the database. You can purchase PDFs for download.
