    Ogre Kingdoms 2,750 Friendly

Just trying to get a feel for the army. The first list I have everything (though incomplete) except for 1 Ironblaster. The second list would also require 4 more Mournfangs.

•Tyrant- Sword of Anti-Heroes, Armor of Silvered Steel, Dawnstone: 310

•Bruiser- Heavy Armor, Gold Sigil Sword, Enchanted Shield, Talisman of Endurance, Battle Standard Bearer: 184
•Firebelly- Great Weapon, Level 2, Ruby Ring of Ruin, Dispel Scroll: 214
    •Butcher- Ironfist, Level 2, Gambler’s Armor, Power Stone: 178

    •Orges x6- Full Command, Look-out Gnoblar, Ironfists: 227

I've been writing lists and it's bloody hard!

I'm fairly sure that the way to go is to not take the Tryant. With a Lv4 Slaughtermaster you still have 4S4(or5 with spells) attacks, with the Fencers blades (protection as well as combat boosts) you get (magically supported) a Lv4 Wizard, with Ws10, 5S5 Attacks, who's T6. Now to me thats better than my Orc Warboss! He's only Ld8, but place him in your big Irongut unit with the Standard of Discipline and you've got your Ld9 General Back. Also, your Ironguts are S6 anyway, you'll usually be making them S7 as well (with the Lv4 I expect to see people using the Sickle, +6 to cast and just 2 dicing every spell) so do they really need armour peircing attacks as well?

The units of 5/6 are ace, they're fairly cheap, with a Firebelly (who's awesome, I'd be taking 2) they can go though even a big unit in a turn so they're good. The big unit is, imo too big. I think that 5 wide is more than enough to allow most people to attack, so why bother with more? I'd limit myself to 8/9, with characters (SlaughterMaster and BsB) and it'll cream everything.

Speaking of Creaming everything, Thundercats will do just that, it's like a possible 11 kills per model in combat, thats just crazy, I've been having lists with 2x4 units, the 3's I think (even with the 2+ save) might still lose 1 on the way in so it becomes a little more dicey, with 3 though you'll mush anything and everything! Leadbleachers are also awesome for the reason, softening up the enemy before you go in, even if it just removes a few models means they're less likley to be steadfast

Rares, well, that Cannons just ace, I think most comps will only let you take 1, but if not, then 2 are awesome!

Well, glad to see some enthusiasm. I'll definitely give the Slaughtermaster some thought (will be a fun project anyway), and I do have some ideas for what to do for a second firebelly (if only they had a Lords version).
