    Favorite Eldar Unit

K this is just a friendly question on everyone favorite eldar unit and why it might be cause the models look BA(Badass) or they are BA in game and looks. NOT the best unit in your eyes just your fav. mine is the Harlequins i think they look BA and are just as BA in CC. that and they mess with people's firing lol.

Hard to answer, since ALL our units specializes in ways of killing something. I can say highly used units Howling Banshee, Dire Avengers and Wraithlords/lords.

I like Shining Spears. concept they're great but execution is fail. and because of that fail I use farseer and warlocks on jetbikes - much better at getting the job done (just wish they had assault grenades.. would be so much better)
models I like are the howling banshees and dark reapers. All versions of the banshee sculpt look good, though I only like the non-conehead reaper sculpts

    Army (W/L/D)
    CSM 0/0/0 (70% painted)
    Tyranid 0/0/0 (updating)
    Eldar 1/1/5

Models - Fire Dragons Shining Spears/Dire Avengers. Game - Dire Avengers - all round unit of win.

This week I am good-naturedly shaking my fist at: Baragash. For being unreasonably reasonable.
    Sex, drugs and pointy ears.
Cheaphammer 40p: 2000 points of Marines as cheap as possible.
It'll be alright on the Knight - a slow refreshing of my original Grey Knight army.
Cordova: In my head you're eight foot tall, always carry an officer's sabre, and speak like Theoden at the battle of Pelennor Fields.

Grey Knights don't go to heaven: they go to hell and regroup.

Prolly the second or third re-sculpt of the reapers. 2nd one = Skull type helmet and 3rd = Skull type helmet with the radar ears like from the 1st.

Spiders for me. I like their style (fluff wise). I feel their rules could use an update, but I enjoy them regardless. As much as there are better choices, I used them for a while in my competitive lise just because I liked them that much.

Dire Avengers - the fluff story is pretty epic, and you just get that feel of epicness when using them. Not to mention the way that they work with another key part of the Eldar codex.
Farseers - Guide, Doom, Fortune (Eldrad for three in a turn) - these are vital cogs in an Eldar army, so that's why they've got to be up there.
Wraithlords - again couldn't survive without a Farseer really, but the mix of heavy weapons and then giving a sound asswhooping to any unit which ventures too near. Plus I'm a fan of the models, and you do see some nice conversions done with Wraithlords
Fire Dragons - what's not to like about a melta gun each. Ok, when I used them they had the label of 'kamikadze' unit - but tactically it worked. Then there's the memories of one little Fire Dragon sneaking onto an objective unnoticed to contest the objective and let me win the game.

I forgot about warp spiders they are one of my fav units in game the second warp in Assault phase really makes people mad. I have had great times taking out my buddies Grey Knights Nighthawk with my Spinneret Rifle plus Space Wolves lol. Its really hard to just have one fav unit with Eldar I think the Fire Dragons got a wicked new look.
I have had absolutly no good times using shining spears Way to expensive and just didnt do much they were the best unit on their team lol.

My favourite looking models are wraithlord, Eldrad, swooping hawks, and Baharroth. I'm hoping swooping hawks and Baharroth look even more awesome when we get an update.

My favourite units are the wraithlord and dire avengers. They always serve me well, and my dire avengers have held up way better than they ought to have in assault with space marines. XD

Assaulting Space Wolves with Dire Avengers is what my boys in blue do for a hobby. Bladestorm + Defend + Shimmershield = polished off unit of Marines. Farseers help, wouldn't advise it without them unless you're tarpitting for a turn or 3.

Wraithguard.....whats not to lose about the soul of an immortal warrior inside a big wraithbone construct carrying a gun which rips holes in reality. For me they pip the wraithlord as they dont have such a big bullseye on there heads and the wraithlord doesnt have access to a uber wraithcannon like he should.

The only codices that are older than ours are Necrons, Black Templar, and Tau. So we'll probably get a full update in... another five years XD
