Nah, I'm pretty sure DA came out a few months after Eldar. IIRC, Eldar were done late 2006 and DA were done mid 2007 along with that dreadful WD Blood Angel dex.

Back to the original question, my favourite is the Warp Spiders. The models were ahead of their time when they first came out in 2nd edition. They still look good even when other units get new models in 5th edition.

I'm just waiting for a new Exarch model with different weapons.

Does anyone use an Eldar list based on Guardians? The models look great, but I see them as the Eldar version of Termagants: send them forward in hordes and expect a lot of casualties.
It's very un-Eldar-like to send the people of their dying race to die in droves like that =/

Yes, there are some pretty decent eldar horde lists. Generally, you get copious amounts of defender guardians with scatter lasers and a concealed warlock. Throw in an avatar for fearless bubble and wraithloard/warwalkers for extra support. If you can grab eldrad as well, double fortune front two squads and 5+ re-rollable cover isn't too shabby.

Harlequins hands down. Once got 8 kill points with just a squad of ten.
