2000 pt "semi-competative" list (looking for critiques)
Hey guys, played Iyanden before and have like 20 Wraithguard... but I am now wanting to play more normal Eldar. I wanted to have a good amount of troops for objective games, etc... and also did not want to use any banshees, scorpions, or Harlequins. I also wanted it to be a decent, well-rounded army. So there is my initial description.
HQ- Farseer, RoWarding, RoWitnessing, Spirit stones, Doom, Guide = 145
HQ- Farsser, RoWitnessing, Spirit Stones, Doom, Guide = 130
Troops- 10 Dire Avengers, Exarch, 2 Catapults, Bladestorm = 152
Troops- 10 Dire Avengers, Exarch, 2 Catapults, Bladestorm = 152
Troops- 10 Dire Avengers, Exarch, 2 Catapults, Bladestorm = 152
Troops- 10 Dire Avengers, Exarch, Diresword, Defend = 157
All 4 Dire Avengers squads in a Wave Serpent:
Wave Serpent, TL-Shuriken Cannon, Spirit Stones = 110 (440)
Elites- 5 Fire Dragons
Elites- 5 Fire Dragons
Both Squads of Fire Dragons are in a Wave Serpent:
Wave Serpent, TL-Shuriken Cannon, Vectored Engines, Spirit Stones = 130 (260)
Heavy Support- Fire Prism, Spirit Stones = 125
Heavy Support- Fire Prism, Spirit Stones = 125
Total: 1998
My idea here is rush the fire dragons to high priority targets, have each farseer in a squad of DAs with Blade storm and have them go for important targets so the farseer can doom/guide. Have the other 2 squads of DAs go for slightly weaker targets and/or objectives. Finally have the Fire Prisms focus heavier infantry or hordes or focus any tanks that the fire dragons can't/don't kill.
My only concerns that I can think of right now is that maybe I'm a little over-doing it with the dire avengers and I didn't really have the points to buff their wave serpents... I would like them to have TL-EML and the Shuriken Cannon Upgrade...
IDK, any suggestions? Any help/comments is greatly appreciated.

I agree that the wave serpents should have a bigger gun on them. for the points to get such a gun I'd say drop the vectored engines from the dragons' Wave serpents, that should get you a couple EMLs.
vectored are nice but it is pretty rare that they will save the serpent from distruction. (points are points, and vectored have a limited window of operation since it's only protecting a serpent on one of the 6 damage results -immobilized- and then again Only If the wave serpent moved flat-out in the previous turn...)
if you need even more points, you can take one Avenger from each of the bladestorm squads, the in grand scheme its only 2 (3 on a bladestorm) shots a squad that won't be missed too much (especially on the guided squads). I wouldn't pull from the defend squad as that one is kinda sloted for CC and you'll definately want all the bodies there to ensure you last as long as possible.
also with the defend exarch. I'd try to swap the diresword for the powerweapon/shimmershield combo. diresword is cool in concept but from my experience, not so great in execution... it's S3 and most multi-wound targets are going to be Ld10.
Army (W/L/D)
CSM 0/0/0 (70% painted)
Tyranid 0/0/0 (updating)
Eldar 1/1/5
