Definition of Abbreviations and Acronyms, edition II
Okay gents, we're gonna resurrect this idea. What I've done is grab the old list from the original thread, cut off some outdated terms, and repost it. Now obviously this list is not even close to complete! (There's not even anything in the Orks section) That's where you come in. Post abbreviations or acronyms that you use or see others use, and we'll get 'em added to the list. However, there is a caveat. If the acronym you put forward is something only used in your store or made up by you, it's not likely to get put in the list. We want the most commonly used terms, not every term under the sun. In this vein, if there are acronyms on the original list that you guys don't think should be on there, feel free to suggest taking them off.
Any definition you propose should look like this-
TH/SS: Thunder Hammer and Storm Shield

This week I am good-naturedly shaking my fist at: Baragash. For being unreasonably reasonable.
Sex, drugs and pointy ears.
Cheaphammer 40p: 2000 points of Marines as cheap as possible.
It'll be alright on the Knight - a slow refreshing of my original Grey Knight army.
Cordova: In my head you're eight foot tall, always carry an officer's sabre, and speak like Theoden at the battle of Pelennor Fields.
Grey Knights don't go to heaven: they go to hell and regroup.

You raaaaang?
These are some of the abbreviations I use:
Sisters of Battle:
SI - Simulacrum Imperialis
DCA - Death Cult Assassins
HF - Heavy Flamer
On a personal note, the old WH codex had way more acronyms and abbreviations due to all the cool wargear in the wargear section

Nids:
LW&BS - Lashwhip & Bonesword
HVC - Heavy Venom Cannon
Devilgaunt - Termagent with Devourer
Doom - Doom of Malan'tai (too obvious for inclusion?)
BS could be Bonesword or Barbed Strangler, context is everythign I suppose. I would perhaps argue BS is more common.

I've seen naked used a lot for Nids particularly, so Nid specific? Not seen vanilla used much.

Vanilla tends towards marines...hence why I think it doesn't get used for others...
On another note...vanilla is not plain...it is a flavor...cream flavored icecream would be plain...

Can I suggest you pull out the wargear and vehicles used by multiple codexes into a generic, saves repeating PW,PF,HB,PG etc.
Also add the short codes for the codexes in the titles (eg 'Dark Eldar (DE)' )
Also, merge SoB and GK, as there are a number of troops there that are common to both in the Inquisitor list (which has a lot to add: CR=Crusader,DCA=Death Cult Assassin, PSY=psyker, AF=arcoflagellant, WA=Warrior acolyte, JK=jokaero, IS=inq servitor)
Also add:
LS Landspeeder
Pred Predator
Dakkapred: Pred with HB and autocannon
SR Stormraven
suffix of 'S' for sponsons (eg HBS, LCS)
I also suggest RZ refers to Razorback not Righteous Zeal. The latter would be better referred to as Zeal or RZeal.
Good to see this growing

Multiple Small Units. Dark Eldar/ Eldar do it well (Venom spam), Blood Angels can pull it off too. Necrons though ... don't. That's just not how they are.
