Small Report and some question s

I ve player a small 1100 pts friendly games versus tyranid 2 days ago and i just wanted to share some thought.

My list was

Farseer Spirit Stone, both rune, doom , guide , fortune
5 Warlock , 1 Spear , Embolden , 4 destructor
6 Jet Bike , 2 Shuriken Canon , 1 Warlock , embolden ,spear
9 DA , Exarch ,Shield , Defend , Blade Storm
Wave serpent , ML , SC , SS
Vyper Scatter laser
Falcon ML , SC , HF, SS

VS
Tervigon
2 Carnifex , one shooty , one close combat with bio plasma
mycetic spore (for the close combat one)
3 Warrior with deathspitter
2 Squad of 8 Genestealer with toxic sac

First of all ... Wow i m amaze by jet bike. I know their BS is not the same one than my DA , but i love those 6 shot at str 6 , the mobility , the toughness and the extra armor.

The seer council destroyed the Tervigon and the Carnifex (not in the same turn) Those 17 Attack that wound on a 2+ +, I really liked them (actually it was my first time i was trying a full seer council). Having the option to use 4 Destructor for swarm and witch blade for monstrous creature.

Dire avenger got litterary #$% The tervigon spawned some termagant , my DA shoot them all. Next turn he spawn more , but my DA wasn t in the wave anymore those extra termagant shooted me , I was close to the edge table, 8 genestealer arrive on that same side. My wave didnt move the previous turn because i wanted to shoot my ML and SC. The genestealer destroyed the wave right away, So i have like 6 Dire avenger left without trannsport. They go hide in the forest and use blade storm on the genestealer. Only 2 left , but the other squad of genestealer arrive on same edge. They kill one more in the melee but the genestealer were just too powerful.

I ve lost 2 bike from the mycetic spore , bio plasma just eated the bike , but the seer council saved the day.

What i realised.
- Genestealer are a pain to deal with , i underestimate them and i should not stay close to the table edge.
-My falcon at some point moved flat out near the carnifex , the carnifex still wreck it. Double Talon is awesome. Need 6 to hit the falcon , but can reroll everything that is not 6. And A carnifex that attacking a vehicule .. the vehicule dont have much chance to survive, Pen hit were automatic. str 10 + 2 d 6 on a armor 10

Question
- DO YOU THINK JETBIKE SQUAD ARE BETTER THAN DIRE AVENGER UNIT ?
- Do you think a Seer Council inside a Falcon was a nice idea (almost 50% of the point)?

I think your Dire Avengers did very well. 6 Dire Avengers killing 6 x 17 point Genestealers in a single turn is good work and is average for their Bladestorm ability. If the Genestealers had been free to focus on the Seer Council things could have been a lot worse.

I just feel for the same amount of point

165 pts for DA + 130 for Wave serpent = 295pts

I could have

9 JetBike , 3 Shuriken canon , 1 warlock with spear + any psychic power.

I just feel those bike are scarier.
For the Seer council vs genestealer i just think its depend. If they were getting engage by them yeah it would have been a mess , but if the seer council would have been able too shoot them.

Doom the genestealer , 4 Destructor on them ... the genestealer would have been obliterate
