    Pressure play of HF lamia

Finally found a name for my hive fleet. Lamia.

Anyway I have a new list that feels promising and simple. Most worry comes from the financial. It's a 2k list but easy enough to adjust.

    -HQ1 tervigon: scything talons, regen
    -HQ2 tervigon: scything talons, regen
    -troop1 10x hormagaunts
    -troop2 10x hormagaunts
    -troop3 10x hormagaunts
    -troop4 10x hormagaunts
    -elite1 Doom of malintai: pod
    -elite2 2x hive gaurds
    -heavy1 2x carnifex:bioplasma, regen, Adrenal sac
    -heavy2 trygon prime: regen
-heavy3 2x carnifex: bioplasma, regen, AS
    Total 1995

Simple. First rank hormagaunts charge fast and engage infantys.
2nd rank MCs(fexes, and trygon) assault armors. Tervigons flood and slow incoming enemy.
3rd rank hive gaurds shoot and slow advance.

DoM drops near many fleshies and does his thing.

Simple, powerful. Major factors are a majority of MCs means focusing enemy fire on a single target or waste their bullets. Hormagaunts either screen alongside generated termagaunts and assault incoming fleshies. Or swarm around a armor to dent disembarking till a MC can open it like an egg. Fexes are the primary muscles as they hit hard and 2. Sets of scythes means, almost, garunteed devistation. Trygon just moves fast and can kill everything but more likely to attract fire as he is huge. If deemed nessicary use his SA to divert fire from dug in enemy's so others may advance.

    For a 1500 game

    Tervigon:scythes, regen
    30x horma(3brood of 10)
    4xfexes (2brood of 2): bioplasma, regen,AS
    -heavy3 trygon prime: regen

If anything it's more dangerous then the 2k list as it's the same amount of destruction for 500pts less.

    Nice hive Fleet name

let us know how the carnifexes' bio-plasma work out for you. I haven't been able to bring myself to spend the points on that upgrade

    Army (W/L/D)
    CSM 0/0/0 (70% painted)
    Tyranid 0/0/0 (updating)
    Eldar 1/1/5

I find it extremely usefull. When facing a carnifex the first thing people do is tie it up with fodder and shoot from afar. Giving the plasma slows it to lessen the fodder. And at a strength 7 ap2. It's no garuntee but am occasional roll will crack a tank. Land raiders are still CQC but with a roll of 6. It hits with 13. If your realy lucky they'll park two of them side by side and a few fleshies in the middle you can damage multiple units killing most out right.
