    Want to strat chaos daemons

I never play against chaos daemon, I try to get a new army for in next few month, right now I have eldar , DE, CSM , what is chaos daemon play style, far range or mid range? What unit are must have for every game? Is that battleforce box worth, all I know is their HQ is around 60 bucks

Daemons are predominately a pure-assault army which has the gimmick of being forced to deploy via the deep strike rules. You can do a very shooty list by picking multiples of all the Tzeentch options, but that army severely lacks in the assault phase with only greater deamons, daemon princes & soul grinders being viable.

A decent mix of Tzeentch horrors for troops, (who can take a single S8/ap1 bolt for anti-tank), and khornate & slaaneshii units for assaults works pretty well.
Nurgle units aren't so hot unless they're supported by epidimius who can make them rather silly the more of the enemy your nurgle units kill! A small unit or two of plaguebearers however are good for objective squating as T5/5++/FnP is pretty resiliant!

Competitively in tournaments and such, Daemons really suffer... GK's have a book with multiple 'auto-win' buttons, we suck at destroying MSU mech outside of a set build, and we're an assaulty army that deep strikes - potentially with the wrong units 1st turn!
Daemons are a fun army, but don't expect even our fateweaver build to breeze it's way to an esy victory at every tournament you enter like some other 'dexes can...

I find that Daemons really reward a very aggressive approch to the game. There's some really nasty tricks, and we have the advantage of picking where and when we'll fight with our deep striking. Alot of people won't know what to expect or how to handle this kind of force! (those who do know however can make your life pretty rough!)
