Cyberpunk Crypteks
It has been I while since I have posted some cyberpunk necrons in a while. you can find my old post here:
http://www.40kforums.com/vb/showthre...erpunk-Necrons
Any way, I have been working on this since the new models and codex came out. The first thing I bought was the box of immortal. Now I have always wanted some immortal but the real reason I bought the box was for the deathmark heads. Originally I had planed on using the immortal/deathmark bodies as well because I didn't what to look like I was being cheep but I had noticed that Crypteks have a profile closer to that of a warrior than an immortal so I felt justified in using some leftover warrior bodies I had lying around. (expect some immortals later)
Now I made one Cryptek for each discipline, but I haven't labeled them because I want to see if people can guess which one is which. Also, bonus points if you can if you can guess the underlying theme my Crypteks have beyond cyberpunk.
Cryptek 1
Cryptek 2
Cryptek 3
Cryptek 4
Cryptek 5
Group Shot
Now, can you figure out which one is which?

1=Despair
2=Storm
3=Destruction
4=Transmogrification
5=Eternity
at least thats my best guess; and the underlying theme is a rock band with synthesizer. again all speculation.
Space Marine 2-1-2 (1250pts) Retired
Space Wolves 2-3-1 (1250pts)
Necrons 4-2-1 (1000 pts) In active (back on their tomb world)

This is just made of pure win. Well done Sir, you've made my day.

This week I am good-naturedly shaking my fist at: Baragash. For being unreasonably reasonable.
Sex, drugs and pointy ears.
Cheaphammer 40p: 2000 points of Marines as cheap as possible.
It'll be alright on the Knight - a slow refreshing of my original Grey Knight army.
Cordova: In my head you're eight foot tall, always carry an officer's sabre, and speak like Theoden at the battle of Pelennor Fields.
Grey Knights don't go to heaven: they go to hell and regroup.

1. Transmogrification
2. Storm
3. Destruction
4. Eternity
5. Despair
What would happen? If 4 models representing all my 4 armies would talk to each other.
Space Marine says: Kill all Xenos!
Eldar says: Well this is going to a civilized conversation, MONKEIGH!
Necrons says: 01010100010101
Dark Eldar says: Hold on everyone! Before we are starting to have an enjoyable little slaughter has anyone seen my Cocaine? I serious need to get high!

Well I am hoping that the paint will make it that much more clearer as to which cryptek is which.

That's how I seperate my Crypteks. I all give them a universal paint job so that they fit in with the rest of my Necron army but the eyes, the orb and the staff I give different colors to represent which harbringer they are.
1. Transmogrification- Orange
2. Storm- Yellow
3. Destruction- Green
4. Eternity -Dark blue
5. Despair - Purple

Had a look at the original thread and that is just so unbelievably epic and cool!
So cool I'm going to do something similar. Although I don't intend on doing Cyberpunk, I'm going to place UV 'Blacklight' LEDS on a Monolith and then use UV paints on appropriate parts of a necron army, so guns, runes and so on. Probably won't look anywhere near as cool as that, but I'm so excited to find something to really inspire me to get a whole army built, modified and painted.
With LEDs I can use batteries in the monolith, however it won't be as bright as yours by any means!

I think one of them is Ringo...
so from left to right, that makes:
George
John
Ringo
Stuart Sutcliffe
Paul
Of course Ringo could double for Pete Best
