i recently got the book, ive been playing daemons and DE.

so i have some questions cause the book is unclear to me at the moment.

1: someone told me the smart missles can only be fired if a marker light is used, i cannot find this in the book.

2: if i upgrade a broadside model to a team leader and take the hard wired drone controller, it says i must take one or two drones. can i also grab another drone or does the 2 im forced to take count towards the no repeat rule?

3: am i reading this correctly the devil fish is a troop choice, can contain fire warriors but does not count as a dedicated transport? so it uses the troop slots?

Smart missles can only be fired one per marker light.

I believe the drone controller only allows a max of two drones and I dont believe you can take it again. That would be a waste of points anyway.

I am not sure about the devilfish. I believe the best way to run these is to take it as the forced purchase for your pathfinders and then use it elsewhere I dont think it takes up an FOC slot that way.

well im intial way i want to try and play is 3 fire warrior teams with 3 devilfish in reserve, but i might make two fire warrior units, with 2 devil fish and then have a pathfinder devilfish and run some kroot for some bubble wrap.

Seeker Missiles need a Markerlight hit, not Smart Missile... Smart Missile are so smart you dont even need to see the target to be able to shoot at them.

Each model can only have 1 controller, and thus only 1-2 Drones for each model with a controller. (And yes you can pick 2 of the same drone type.

No, a Devilfish is a Dedicated Transport, and does not take up a slot... The only part of Deicated you ignore is that it does not have to only transport the models it was bought with anymore, thats a change from 4th -> 5th Edition.

sorry to be a pain but where does it say its dedicated?

also further questions, it says in the suit armory that suit have to take there minimum weapons and support systems, can u also include addition hardwired wargear as it says the same paragraph?

1: Its a Dedicated Transport because thats all it is, its a Transport, and does not count as anything, not Troops, or whatever. It must be bought as apart of another unit, BUT it does not have to be slave to that unit, not anymore since the change from 4th to 5th.

2: Once you have those 3 Wargear slots filled, then yes, but only if that unit is allowed to take Hard-wired systems.
