Are there any good novels featuring Tau?

I was considering starting to read some 40K books, and I just wanted to know if there were any good ones with the Tau Empire featured. Thanks.

I don't know about GOOD ones, as I find most of the 40k books to be pretty mediocre. (with the exception of Eisenhorn and Ravenor)
I know Star of Damocles includes them...as does Savage Scars, and Courage and Honor. I believe they all feature the Tau as villains. (all Imperium-centric novels)

Dunno about SoD, but the other 2 books mildly pissed me off.

I haven't read them...but my roommate did, and he explained them to me. They all sounded terrible...glorified the Imperium too much.

The end of C&H was total BS... Like one of those big events, but is pointless cause it was just a dream of some crap like that.

yeah...because Black Library is so full of talent and literary masterworks...

But on topic. There are few books with tau in them...and I know of none with tau as the protagonists

Yeah, the Tau seem to be just a segue for novels, and thats it.

Then again, there aren't too many Black Library books which don't feature Imperials as the protagonist. And most of those left feature Chaos in the forefront.

Yeah, I was never sure if many books featured other races as the main characters.
