question regarding pirahnas

so are pirahnas better as a single choice or in a squadron?

im fixing to start buying, i figure having at least 3 would be worth buying

Whilst I dont play Tau I have faced quite a few Tau armies and play with landspeeders myself which are some what similar. TBH Pirahnas are not one of the more popular choices with anything with a railgun being the priority for most Tau players. If you do want to take them then on their own is in my opinion the better option. If they get shot at, they will die. The more you take in a single squadron the more will die to multpile shot weapons. Personally I dont find them strong enough to work as a larger unit but on their own they are good distraction units.
